When you've either become a moderator or an established expert in the field of non-traditional education, you too will be given more leeway than usual.

Johann: I thought you knew of him, Ted! Lawrence E. Creeden III is the guy who runs the DLTruth forum. Most of the posts are said to be his, under the names of about 14 avatars. There may be from 2 to 5 actual members, AFAIK. According to the posts there, we regulars at DI and DD are all "liars", "perverts", "frauds" or "millists" ... possibly some of us stand accused of all the above - I'm not sure!

You and I have been mentioned specifically in Creeden's "dispatches," Ted. (Separately, of course!) Not that we should worry!

I'm not even close to being ticked off. You asked how you were supposed to "behave" while a moderator and an established expert in the field of DL were exchanging barbs. I then provided you with an answer, which is that we have more tolerance for people who have "made their bones" on this site than n00bs who just registered last month.

Exceptions are made, of course. For example, if Allen Ezell decided to grace us with his presence by registering here, he would have wide latitude as to what he posts, because he has the instant credibility of being a public figure and an established expert in this field (Google his name).

 

Sigh. First of all, I was joking when I posted that. When I said "how can I behave" I was referring to the post that said I was instigating, which is seriously funny in and of itself. I simply meant, how can I NOT enjoy the show when they keep going back and forth at each other? I didnt mean it in the context of "how can you expect me to tow the line and be good when they dont" I meant "now how on earth am I suppose to walk away, not enjoy the show, and not have some yummy popcorn while I do it when they keep going at each other and providing free entertainment". See the difference?

 

Last notes re Mr. Creeden:

(1) His stuff can be comical, in a sociopathic, misanthropic sort of way, but it can't be taken seriously. He is not a happy person.

(2) On the same subject: Note to DI Administrators - make sure your system security measures are in place at all times.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but just couldn't resist myself. The "Internet Queen" seems to be weaving some new tricks - she want to offer her 'services" to connect "firms" with prospective "referrals".

Unfortunately, I relied on Sheila Danzig's effective advertisement of her career consulting and evaluation service. I am appalled at what she states is a valid and professional evaluation of a foreign educational degree and work experience. I will proceed with a formal complaint against her company. If you have more details of her past actions, please let me know.
