I have an MBA from an excellent university. What would be better for my future, to do a DBA or Ph.D in Educational Leadership, which degree would boost my MBA more and give me more opportunities in the area of education or in the business area?
I would do the PhD. An MBA is already considered high enough of a credential for business. DBAs have been gaining some traction, but I don't think you're going to get considerably more value out the DBA since your MBA is from (as you say) an excellent university. Besides, already holding an MBA, the PhD in Educational Leadership will give you foot access into both business and educational fields.
