Can anyone else NOT stand Nancy Grace?

All horsing around aside, merely to point out that a young lady (or an older woman, for that matter) is very beautiful in no way negates the possibility that she just might be very intelligent as well. As a matter of fact, a woman who possesses both beauty and brains (and many do possess both) is EXTREMELY attractive. While I do concede that Nancy Grace and Ann Coulter are both very intelligent (how else could they both get law degrees and make the law review?), I chose not to admit as much in my first post to this thread in order to see if my male colleagues' brains would sink a bit too far south. Not surprisingly, the tactic succeeded. Peace!

I agree with Bruce. You know, I try not to get too involved in politics but I get somewhat irritated when the average Joe (that you are btw) who calls highly accomplished individuals "stupid" because he/she doesn't agree with their ideas.

Some people don't look smart on TV, but it doesn't mean that they are not really smart. Some presidents (Bush) are just not naturally born demagogues. Then again, its not always easy to talk in front of 20+ million viewers. Some of us, regardless of our wits, do get nervous.

Don't sweat it, Sulla. It's just good old-fashioned ad hominem. Been around as long as there have been arguments.

If someone with whom you disagree comes up with an argument that you can't readily counter, or one that gives you pause and causes you to question deep-held beliefs, it's a common defense mechanism. Just call them "stupid" or "hateful" or "crazy" or "ho hum" at them. That way, you can dismiss their beliefs before they do too much damage to your own.

While Ann Coulter may be too skinny for some but that is a matter of personal preference. However, by generally accepted standards -excepting some tribe in Central Africa {whose name escapes me}, noteworthy only because their women put increasing numbers of rings around their neck in an attempt to stretch it- Ann Coulter's neck is too long for her body. If those tribesman had access to cable TV they'd be worshipping her!!!

Nancy Grace, on the other hand, is a serious piece no matter how you slice it.

Actually, I have to agree with some here that Ann Coulter is a little too skinny for my tastes. If I were single, I'd love to have a few beers with her, just for the entertainment value, but she's not my type. I just think she's more attractive than Nancy Grace, who always looks like she's mad about something.

Playing "If I Were Single", in the world of female political analysts, I'd have to go with Laura Ingraham.

 

I strongly suggest that those of you who have so brazenly objectified women here never engage in any form of sexual harassment anywhere: Everything written here can (and will) be used against you in court. Goes to pattern.

Maybe we could all get a group discount on some sensitivity training classes.
