I can't believe I checked in on this thread again... it's now just a bunch of lame jokes on about the 7th grade level and "I know you are but what am I" attacks. DesElms is right, you two just feel compelled to keep proving his point. As a woman I'd actually feel insulted if it all wasn't so predictably stupid.

    Aye yai yai... yet again.

[sound of the foul buzzer] Oooh, I'm sorry Mr. Heiks. Too late to backpeddle now. Your earlier words both speak for themselves, and speak volumes. Moreover, nothing you've written immediately above either mitigates it, or helps you wiggle out of it.

Now that's hitting below the belt! But, of course, that's how you play, isn't it? You know from my previous posts that Ken Starr is someone I'd like to see accidentally step in front of a bus (not really, but can dream, can't one?). I hate that guy; and have never resorted to his kind of tactics... and you know it.

Is this how your father taught you to fight; or your education to debate? Shame on you. Try to win on the merits, will ya'? Doing otherwise makes you look bad.

[foul buzzer... again] Oooh, sorry, again, Mr. Heiks. Your convoluted and cheap shot missed the mark completely. I've been singing this same feminist song for nearly forty years. I have no history or track record in this life of cat calling, wolf whistling, butt patting, breast ogling, "honey" or "baby" calling, "boob job" encouraging, Hooters attending... er... well... you get the picture. I can trace the beginnings of my feminist sensibilities back to when I was around 14 years old; and a defining moment that helped to seal the deal at the hands of a feminist female editor for whom I worked at a newspaper when I was 20; and I've never looked back.

I can produce any number of men or women character witnesses who have known me throughout my lifetime either through work, school, church, or any number of social associations; and who will tell you that I have not only never engaged in the kind of pathetic, unconscionable, woman-hating rhetoric as you and a few others have shamelessly engaged in here; nor have I ever, certainly as nearly as they could tell, thought of women in the ways that one would need to think of them in order to be as oafish as you're exhibited yourself to be here. They will tell you, also, that I have even taken to task those like you whom I've encountered/observed behaving in public much as you've either behaved here, or have seemingly advocated for the right of others to do so. Why, I even had a guy get all pissed off and take a swing at me for it once... for which he went straight to jail on the spot.

Every woman with whom I've ever had any kind of intimate relationship will attest to the fact that I've always been respectful of women, generally; have been an outspoken advocate for women's rights and equality in all things; and have nothing in my past for which to atone, as you ignorantly and intentionally hurtfully suggest.

So you could not be more wrong about me, Ted. I, on the other hand, have your number...

    ...as does every reader here.

Ah... yet another punch below the belt. Sooner or later, when they can no longer argue the merits, they always resort to such as this.

Just imagine the plight of the women in their lives!

You know, Abner, your joining-in in this thread the way you have; and now your not-so-thinly-veiled pubic hair reference, has done nothing for your image -- at least in my eyes -- as an alleged liberal. Do you think maybe you could start thinking with the big head for a change? When the liberal viewpoint needs to be put forth around here, I've always valued your input and looked forward to your support. But it would have alot more impact, when you do so, if you still had some credibility!

    Hi Mr. DesElms:

I assure you I was not making reference to pubic hairs. Curlicue fries are very popular here in California, the trademark "Curlicue" is even used by the food chain Arby's. I am sorry for the misunderstanding, I have always and still do appreciate and respect your view point.

    Respectfully,

    Abner :)
