I never checked how often he is right or wrong. This is a Democrat that claiming rigged elections. He claims to have evidence of dominion software etc. unlike Alan Dershowits, I don't claim Mr. Morris is an expert.
43 pages - is that the record length for a DI thread? I have a hunch that if it were about anything other than a Presidential election, it would have been in lockdown weeks ago.
Morris has been highly critical of Democrats since the Clintons put space between them and him after his very public sexual shenanigans. He is a Republican now. You continue to confuse assertions and assessments. Regarding Dick Morris, he can make assertions, but they must be backed up with significant evidence because of his opposition to the Democratic Party. His assessments must be weighed in the context of his reputation. In other words, DISMISSED!
I respectfully disagree. Lerner has been the agent provocateur, but the thread has been remarkably free of ad hominem. I think it's been on-topic and rather successful in bringing out and examining the issues surrounding the election. But it is a rather long one!
Agreed. Political discussions tend to degenerate rather quickly; this one is remarkably civil. However, how crazy is it that we still talk "tea leaves" three weeks AFTER the election?
Believe it or not, but in some ways, Bill, Rich, Johann, Nosborn48 changed some of my perceptions and views.
Maybe. Maybe not. It's hard to isolate and measure the impact. This is surprising to come from someone with few inhibitions regarding self-expression.
PA temporary delay in certification. A Pennsylvania state judge has temporarily blocked any further steps in the certification of the election results. President Trump's legal team has been granted a stay on any further certification of election results in Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro said on Twitter Wednesday. "We will be filing an appeal with the Pennsylvania Supreme Court momentarily." A hearing will take place at 11:30 a.m. Friday. Specifically, the new language in the Trump campaign filing targets the legality of Act 77, the legislation passed in bipartisan fashion in the Pennsylvania state legislature in Oct. 2019.
The Trump campaign isn't even grasping at straws anymore. The poor Trump campaign has gone down and there hasn't been a surface ripple for many minutes now. Mean while Trump is still spreading his lies and the Trump cult members are believing every single one. Don't worry, there's an underwater McDonald's hamburger restaurant down there and after the campaign is done eating it's Big Mac and fries then it will swim to victory. In the meantime, Newsmax is interviewing people lying about underwater McDonald restaurants and the Biden campaign is on shore getting dressed.
It's all a low-level grift now. Collecting money from gullible people thinking there's a cause to fight. And setting up the fiction that this latest "lost cause" is a stolen election. It is this kind of retrenched ignorance that holds America back.
Yup, exactly right. Fox News isn't pushing any of this nonsense anymore. It's mathematically impossible now. The folks that can't face up to Trump losing (including Trump) are flocking to social media, Newsmax and OANN to get their daily dose of fantasy.
"Fox News is taking action to stave off newfound competition from Newsmax TV. Producers on some Fox programs have been told to monitor Newsmax's guest bookings and throw some sand in Newsmax's gears by encouraging guests who appear on both channels to stop saying yes to the upstart. According to Fox sources, producers were told to avoid some regular guests if they kept showing up on Newsmax after being encouraged to stop. Management's goal: to remind guests who's boss in the right-wing media world. And Fox News is still boss, with five times the audience of Newsmax at any given time of day. A Fox spokesperson said there was no directive about guest bookings."
Indeed, right media sources still see Biden as not moderate and in their opinion the fraud and other claims are there. "To date, we have a combined 538 sworn declarations in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, and Wisconsin. Additionally, there have been over 14,000 incident reports filed in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, and Wisconsin since Election Day. FEC Chairman Trey Trainor said, "The massive amounts of affidavits that we see in these cases show that there was in fact fraud that took place and the other side really needs to answer these questions." There is evidence of systemic efforts by election officials to "cure" ballots in heavily Democratic areas but not Republican ones. There was lack of voter identification." I know this all failed so far will tens of lawsuits dismissed. But they are still filing new ones and fighting to prove their claims.
