Course accreditation crisis in top Ugandan Universities

It took one student's rejected application to Bristol University (UK) for Makerere University and Kyambogo University to acknowledge that they have been offering courses whose accreditation by the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) expired several years ago. Ironically, the vice chancellor of Kyambogo University is also the chairman of NHCE.

What happened here? I respectfully suggest you address that question to the Vice-Chancellor of Kyambogo and Makerere University and the Chairman of NCHE, the Accreditor. They work closely together - in fact, they are the same person. That person would know.
