It's damn good!!!!! It has the taste of juicy beef, but is very, very low in fat. There is a whole in the wall place I go to once in a while for ostrich burgers. MUY YUMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) Of course, buffalo burgers are good as well. Try it sometime, you'll like it. I believe you can order it online.

I've had bison burgers but I don't know if that's the same thing as buffalo burgers. I don't think that bison and buffalo are the exact same animal but I confess that I don't really know. Maybe an online zoology course?

While we're on the subject, there's nothing quite like a venison steak.

Wait a second....this thread contains references to beef, chicken, turkey, pork, bison, and ostrich, but you wait until venison is mentioned to raise a protest?

    Why, you......you....anti-Cervidae!!!! :D

I don't know if either of these meets you definition of "cheap" (you don't give any stated price range), but American Intercontinental University www.aiuonline.edu offers a 10-month MBA and my own alma mater City University of Seattle www.cityu.edu offers a Fast Track MBA based on compressed five-week courses that can be completed in 18 months. Plus you can go to the "MBA Sticky" http://forums.degreeinfo.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=27695 (which is still a work in progress).

If it is in California, it likely a Bison farm. North Americans refer to the native bison as buffalo, but true buffalo are only native to Africa and Asia.

It sounds like semantics, but we have quite a few contributors that are not from North American and may in fact believe we are referring to real buffalo. The man that nearly single handedly put the animal on the endangered species list should have been called Bison Bill Cody. It would have saved confusion for generations of elementary school children.

  17. For the sake of curiosity I took a look at their site and was astounded to see that only 8 courses are required for their MBA degrees - 6 core and 2 electives.

The traditional 48 or 51+ credit (16-17 course) MBA, like my program, is continually being diluted down to 36 or 30-credit programs, and now it seems, 24 (although they are saying 48 on their website?)

While AIU will definitely give you a degree, I'm not sure how much of an education it will provide if you can complete it in less than a year - eight 5-week classes. And the degree will set you back over $30K - all spent in as little as 10 months!

At the end of the day, it's something you can hang on your wall and I guess if that's all you want, it has suitable utility. Otherwise a program like CSUDH probably offers a lot more value for slightly more investment in time.

AIU had troubles at one point. I am still amazed at how they do what they do.

One of our local state schools offers a seven course MBA with no prerequisites. Each course is worth five credits.
