    8 courses @ 6 credits each = a 48-hr. master's degree

  3. I believe the math of it, but am skeptical that these 6-credit courses are the same as other programs' 2 x 3cr courses.

"Traditional" MBA programs take 2 years to complete - my DL program takes 2 years, if you take 2 courses a quarter (a full load). I've spoken with a couple of students who have taken 3 in a quarter but it's a killer unless your job isn't demanding. To do my program in 10 months (or thereabouts) one would need to take 5 courses a quarter. Given the amount of reading and homework I have to do for a single course a quarter I find it hard to believe that AIU Online has the equivalent workload...not that there's anything wrong with it, but if grads go around saying that they completed a 48-hr MBA it is at least somewhat deceiving.

I'll bet that the b-ball team more than pays for itself. Those TV contracts can be quite large, especially when it gets to be March Maddness.

As for the MBA program. I'll bet you'll find that employers pay most of the costs for that program.

This is an old thread, but the proliferation of non-traditional MBA degrees was happening even earlier, as documented by this graphic from 1994.

If this was published today, you would simply substitute "online" for "at night".

It is a water buffalo dairy farm http://cesanbernardino.ucdavis.edu/newsletterfiles/Dairy_Talk_of_Southern_California160.PDF

I know what a bison is and I enjoy bison burgers from Trader Joe's (incorrectly labeled as buffalo burgers).

Most of my acquaintances do not know the difference.

But from which of these animals do buffalo wings come from?
