1 YEAR ONLINE/DL MASTERS

Sentinel, it'll be unfair to say that i'm giving excuses... application for the BTH internet MBA has already closed for the year as seen on their website... I want to be through with my Masters programme latest December 2009 ...again BTH doesnt fit into the calendar...
I have investigated all the suggestions earlier put forth but i still need help to find the best match...

Since December 2009 is a absolute deadline by which you want to have earned a graduate degree, BTH is definitely out of the question. Fair enough.

I'm sorry, but if you really want help, you will need to be much more specific. You say you want a cheap program you can complete in a year. OK. Just how cheap? You say "as cheap as possible". You have already been given those options. EXACTLY how much are you looking to spend? $5,000 for the whole program? Ten dollars a credit hour? How much? We can't possibly give you the answer you're looking for until we know exactly what you want. You have been pretty vague up to this point.

I don't mean to come off as being harsh, and I'm not trying to be. It's just annoying when somebody asks a question, and dismisses all the answers, yet they won't reveal exactly what they want.

The City University www.cityu.edu MBA program can be done in a year and a half.

Blekinge Institute of Technology in Sweden offers a online MBA in English that is free to all students, except books and travel to mandatory residential sessions.

Yes, Blekinge is a fully accredited, respected and internationally recognised university. Yes, the higher education system in Sweden is FREE... as is their health care system... Did I mention standard of living?

National University

National University has several online masters programs. For example, there M.S. in Information Systems requires 12 courses. Each course is one month long. So you can finish in about a year if you schedule your classes back to back. They are *regionally accredited* too. Cost per course is $1,278 or $284 per quarter unit. Each class is 4.5 units. So 4.5 x $284 = $1,278.

Here is a link with all of their programs:

I believe the members have come with good economical suggestions, yet this seems not to be adequate suggestion for you, in the other hand you have not been clear or transparent for that matter, what is exactly you are looking for? Keep in mind (I am sorry for what I am going to say) this is not Burger King, you cannot have your way all the way, without sacrificing something. So, be clear and specific.

Hi Vinipink - I agree with what your saying. It has seemed at times that our friend sam wants all things - cheap, fast, cheap, reputable, cheap, etc. Obviously something gets sacrificed somewhere along the line. However, I think that he made a decision off in another thread.

For the sake of those coming to this thread late I will point out that I don't think that you can enroll in an Indian university without living in that country. I don't really know that this is true, it's just what I've read. However, I've got to say that I don't know that anyone has ever actually tried (and posted about it here).

The least expensive RA master's degree that I like is Western New Mexico University. You can not complete it in 1 year (takes 2) but is around $4000 for the whole degree. You select 2 or 3 concentrations depending on your interests.

Yes, I agree. It may get bothersome repeating the same things or providing options to someone and that someone still not satisfied especially if that someone has already made a decision. The way this person is coming may be looking for a suggestion for extremely very short cut, and that is not going to happen.

Hi Vini - Thanks for understanding my reply. Sometimes it seems to me that people are asking for a real, 100% hamburger but they don't want any beef or lamb, or turkey or chicken or soy involved.

What's left? Squidulum?

The WNMU Msc is a bit more I guess. Takes 36 hours. 6h= $946.50 so it's $5679 ;)
