I wonder how my girlfriend would react to me asking her if she is man enough to marry me

    From Macmillan Dictionary
be man enough (to do something/for something)
to be strong and brave enough to do something difficult or dangerous
Example: Are you man enough for the job?

    From Cambridge British English Dictionary
be man enough to do something
to be brave enough to do something
Example: He was man enough to admit he had made a mistake (<- Abner!!)

    From Oxford Dictionary
be man enough for (or to do)
    be brave enough to do:
Example: who’s man enough for the job?
Example: he has not been man enough to face up to his responsibilities

Maybe this is just mid west American slang :sigh1:

Interesting graphic called Seven Deadly Minutes:

    Someone posted:

it's quite easy to show that zimmerman is innocent...all one has to do is look at a map of the incident and match it up with the TAPED 911 call...

6:54 tyrone is walking to the 7-11 talking to his "girlfriend" on the phone

7:09:34 zimmerman calls 911 and says tyrone is near the clubhouse (he is walking home)

7:11:43 zimmerman says tyrone is running towards the back entrance (see map)

7:11:46 zimmerman leaves his truck (parked @ "C" on map)Zimmerman lost sight of Trayvon because Trayvon turned right down the path [F] toward home [D]. Zimmerman told the dispatcher he had lost sight of the person while continuing toward the gate [E]. That was when the operator asked him “are you following them, because we don’t need you to do that”, to which Zimmerman replied “OK”.it is now 7:12:01

look at the map and look at the time...at this point tyrone is on the sidewalk "F" less than 250 ft from home running or walking home

zimmerman agrees to meet police and ends call @ 7:13:38

zimmerman starts walking back to his truck

STOP AND THINK...zimmerman has lost sight of tyrone for 1 minute and 30 seconds at a point about 250 ft from tyrones house...if tyrone was walking home @ 3mph it would take 30 sec to get home if he kept walking

it is quite clear that tyrone stopped walking home and was hiding in ambush

I'm not expert in this so Ill defer to others on how reliable this is.

I don't know if this proves anything one way or the other. The bigger question is does it raise reasonable doubt? Will a jury think Martin (younger, lighter, an athlete) was likely faster than Zimmerman and had a big head start so he could have easily made it home? Will a jury think it's possible Martin attacked Zimmerman?

Google satellite view - you can zoom in to see gaps between buildings

Personally I believe Trayvon attacked Zimmerman. Through it all I cannot help but reflect on how I was when I was 17. At 6 feet tall, heavily into martial arts, in athletic shape and a typical teenage bad-ass attitude I wonder what I would have done if I was Trayvon. I seriously doubt I would have run home.
