There are so many UoP hating conspiracy theorists out there that I firmly believe that if they were going to get caught with the smoking gun, it would have happened already. If some of these whack jobs spent half as much effort in their UoP classes as they do creating "UoP Sucks" websites, they wouldn't be the disgruntled former students they are.

    Nothing more true said recently.

UoP students work hard to earn their degrees. A problem I have with UoP is that they admit just about anyone, causing (a) many to drop out who shouldn't have been there and (b) the dumbing down of classes earlier in the program. I firmly believe the outcomes of UoP--graduates--are solid. But their pursuit of the almighty dollar sullies the inputs--the first few courses.

ROFL, You my friend are totally wrong, and besides that is just YOUR uninformed opinion(don't be upset we know). This goes to show that even though some people in here have no idea what they are talking about they try to come of like an SME... (subject matter expert)

Like it or not UoP is Regionally accredited, and the credits, if they apply to a given degree plan will transfer. Sorry to upset you, but it's true.

IMHO is a UoP degree worthless no, costly yes, reputation beaten up by over exposure YES.

My wife took a few classes physically at their campus here in Las Vegas and hated the "learning teams" as well as the constant screw ups with tuition and Military TA. She said the teams gave lazy people the license to be even lazier.

The enrollment advisor position turn-over at UoP is something like I have never seen before. She had someone new almost every week.

Again pal, your uninformed opinion, be happy you have that going for you-

You are right that UoP credit will transfer - I have transfered three classes for my COSC degree...but...(I hate to start down this road) COSC accepted my UoP 400 level class as an upper level class and my UoP 300 level course as a 100 level class. They said that due to the content it did not qualify as upper level. I don't claim to be an SME but this is first hand experience.

I do not claim UoP Sucks or anything like that. The quality of the education is in line with other schools I have gone to and the program to be an instructor is tough (again, first hand expereince as I failed the instructor program). I would not get a degree from UoP due to costs and that is the only factor that would hold me back from having them as a selection.

Newsflash; the right to free speech does not extend to a private message board. The US Constitution only applies to governmental action.

Veteran members pretty much have carte blanche to say whatever they want within reason, but I have zero tolerance for someone who registers as a newbie, then immediately starts tossing grenades to stir the pot. Consider it a pre-emptive strike.

    I agree!
However, I left out the TROLL part in my sarcastic post. I did not want to over use it :)

This guy was just looking for a fight, no doubt about that. Kind of like the "ONLINE LAW SCHOOL" hater guy from California that caused such a ruckus on here a few years back! I forget his name as he had used so many in that short few weeks of nonsense posting.

I believe he and all his aliases were BANNED too.

Oh geesh.....yeah, I had forgotten all about him. He was certainly a real prize.

Who was the guy whose life mission seemed to be pointing out the difference between UMUC and the University of Maryland-College Park?

I swear he had a revolving light and siren on top of his computer which activated whenever the words "university" and "Maryland" appeared in the same post here. I can't for the life of me think of his name.....I don't believe he was banned, I think he either faded away or the people with the nets finally caught up with him.

    Yay!!

    YES!!!!

That was killing me, I could not remember that persons user names for the life of me!!

Yes Bruce, I just found him in my past posts, and he is still a member here. His 140+ posts were done in just a few months 2006 and that is where they (and he) remain.

Looking at some of his posts, as well as his "professional predictions" for the California legal system, I see all is not as he had hoped.

I checked on the California Online Law School situation, and all the big players are still there in cyber land producing happy graduates. His dream that CA would abolish the non bar JD never came to pass either. WOW REALLY!!

I wonder what fast food place he works at today?
