I would hope the Supremes refuse to hear it because of a lack of standing.

And to keep Giuliani out of jail long enough to get a pardon.

    Typical left inspired opinion.

But the Trump team is slowly trying to get justice.
    For example:
Justice Alito is serious. He had a December 9th deadline for people to respond to him, which is tomorrow, in Pennsylvania and I think he moved it to today.
He did not like what he was seeing happen in Pennsylvania at all with the ballots, with the counting, and how they had mixed the ballots, they had not separated them and had them sequestered.
They were all mixed together. He said, “You can’t do that. I want those separated. I want them shown which ones are which by December the 9th.”

Yup. And you can bet that's what will happen with that stupid Texas lawsuit, too.

I'm sorry; what is that quote from? Alito himself? When and where?

Imagine, for a moment, a different outcome in 2016 In this imaginary scenario, Hillary Clinton still loses the Electoral College, but she also loses the popular vote by millions and millions. Instead of conceding, she decides to sue more than 40 times (without actually having any evidence of any material wrongdoing in the election). She makes public claims that the election was rigged, that voting fraud was everywhere, that she actually won the election. She also decides to call her Democratic colleagues in several states, trying to get them to overturn the elections in their respective states and file her slate of voters instead. Then she forms a PAC and raises more than $200 million to fight her cause, but only spends a tenth of it on actual election challenges. (Her PAC can transfer the rest to her campaign to pay off debts, or to be spent at her properties and, thus, gets funneled right into her pocket.)

I'm sure Donald Trump supporters would have been just fine with all of that, right?

It's really a reality inspired opinion because it is not political. Trump's fantasyland nonsense is not based on reality. Zero significant wins in court after some 45 or so lawsuits. No evidence presented in court that was considered relevant or real. Just silly claims and unsupported assertions and ridiculous requests. The real purpose to just sucker Trump supporters out of their money.

It was Limbaugh on December 8th, paraphrasing Alito. It is misleading to put such a thing in quotes without citing the real source--Limbaugh, not Alito.

Guess what? It's a Rush Limbaugh quote.

Just an additional warning. Rushlimbaugh.com is rated as fake news and very untrustworthy the lowest of the low in trustworthiness.

    VERY misleading.

Okay, well, the Supreme Court's swift refusal to hear the Pennsylvania appeal is a pretty good sign of where the Justices are at. They aren't going to wade into this Trump created morass because they don't have to. If they refuse to get involved, the legitimate winner takes office.

And I doubt seriously that Alito thought anything LIKE the Oxycontin Kid maintains he did.

Regarding that stupid Texas suit for a moment; states cannot have standing to challenge other states' election process because the conduct of an election is an attribute of state sovereignty. (Yes, folks, state sovereignty is a real thing and not just the fever dream of "constitutionalists"). No state can ever be accountable for its internal actions to another state and no state can be accountable to the federal government for its internal actions unless Congress has enacted a statute giving the federal government some limited oversight based on an explicit constitutional provision such as the XIV Amendment. Saying Texas has no standing to sue the other states is true but is is a weaker formula than is actually the case. It isn't just lack of standing; it's lack of jurisdiction on the part of the U.S. Supreme Court to entertain such a suit based on sovereign immunity.

Will this stop the Trump team from fighting?
    It was from Rush,

I missed the quotation location so only one part got quoted.
And run out of time to correct it and post the link.

Will this stop the Trump team?
Most likely not. They will try to win other lawsuits and focus on 2024.

Incidentally, Limbaugh isn't a lawyer. One doesn't HAVE to be lawyer to know something about the law but even lawyers should be circumspect in claiming to read any Judge's mind.

I wonder when Trump will fire the Supreme Court?

What exactly is the "justice" the Trump lawyers are fighting for? Disenfranchising millions of legitimate voters? How is that "justice"?

Or is Donald Trump himself the embodiment of Justice? That's positively Hitlertarian yet I can find no other model that applies so well.

I though they are fighting elections being fraudulently stolen and that real voters were disenfranchised because of infusion of illegal votes.

There are still the 22 Dominion machines that undergoing forensic exam.

once all these lawsuits put to rest, and all legal challenges end they will focus on 2022 ans 2024.
There is still January GA Senatorial elections.
    Very important for both sides.

This has been litigated in dozens of lawsuits in dozens of courtrooms before dozens of judges, Democrats and Republicans, trial and appellate and there has been not a single finding of significant fraud. There wasn't any. Even Barr says so. But if to you in some cosmic sense justice exactly equals Trump winning, no one will ever convince you that there isn't some evidence somewhere. You're like the little boy looking for a pony under a pile of horseshit. But Lerner, the pile came from Trump himself and there is no pony.
