It’s a shame that the headline doesn’t point out he’s an attorney ‘in’ Antrim County and not ‘the’ county or governmental attorney. Also a shame that the small town bankruptcy attorney without experience or subject matter expertise in this, wasn’t able to present these claims in court effectively... lawsuit was dismissed for lack of evidence...

MAGA porn is an excellent analogy! It's all about the instant gratification with zero recognition or even concern that it is based on fantasy. Just completely ignoring the fact that the last many dozen times similar porn was debunked because there is no apparent concern for reality only for the instant gratification. Swooning over the Trump lies, making up stuff to support Trump lies, creating more MAGA porn, time after time ad nauseam.

The really hard core MAGA porn is QAnon. Almost a quarter of Republicans believe that QAnon MAGA porn!

P.S. If a credible journalist had a real story and actually did put BOMBSHELL in all caps in their headline, you could be sure that whatever it was, it would be breaking news and headlines across all media outlets within a few hours.

Just a minor quibble, here...unlike (I suspect) virtually ANY other poster here, I've actually BEEN a County Attorney. If this County Attorney has any authority to certify or decertify anything I'd be very surprised, especially long after the results were transmitted to and accepted by the State Canvassing Board.

Incidently, County Attorney was a very absorbing and challenging job, one of the best I've ever held.

I would think that an attorney would not want to be associated with or in the support of a crime wether past/present/future.

They may have taken others' words and trusted that they were not lying.

Fraud is a crime wether on a local, state, or federal level.

If there is state/federal level conspiracy/fraud that is discovered after the fact - how could it become legal? Unless one is a Dems mark.

Many on the Republican side think that two crimes were committed: Fraud and Theft - both are part of the same bigger conspiracy crime across state lines. How this will resolve ( if it does ) - I do not know.
But it may have use in the upcoming elections in 2022 if credible evidence discovered and proven.

Unfortunately for the Republicans. widespread election irregularities have only been alleged never shown to any court. They have apparently all been alleged without any evidence only baseless theories.

Where did anyone ever claim that fraud became legal? I'm not sure what fraud and theft you are even talking about?

If fraud is proved - Fraud is a crime whether on a local, state, or federal level. So what will happen I don't know.
This will have to go to the court ?
All alleged and not proven at this time.

No significant election fraud has ever been proven. None ever will be proven.

That attorney was representing someone else in court. Attorney's routinely associate themselves with alleged criminals. That is their DUTY! That is their JOB! Innocent as well as guilty people deserve to have legal representation in our system. Although this case was a civil case not a criminal case and so this is really a different situation.

There is no court case anymore it was dismissed. See Vonnegut's post. I did a Google search and found information on it. The case was dismissed last months, weeks before the bogus article you posted a link to that was called MAGA porn. It was better named than even Steve probably realized. The judge had dismissed the case due to lack of evidence weeks ago. Why was that not mentioned in the article that you posted a link to? Obviously because that reality would detract from the porn value. The reality would have detracted from the fantasy that there actually was election fraud.

Here's the situation Lerner. Trump's assertions that he won the election in a landslide is not evidence that he actually won the election. The fact that over half of Republican's believe Trump's lie that he won the election is not evidence that he actually won the election. The fact that over 80 lawsuits have been filled alleging election fraud and have all been dismissed is evidence that there was NOT any significant election fraud. The MAGA porn fantasy that you're stuck in seems to believe the opposite! Part of the MAGA porn fantasy is that because there is so much MAGA porn all over that it keeps the fantasy alive. But it is just a fantasy.

Commentary? Do YOU think this is a right, wrong, commendable, or insane statement?

There is a parallel Lerner should have already noticed: Chechnya, which is an "autonomous republic" in Russia. A few years back, Chechnya's ruler Ramzan Kadyrov issued eerily similar statement. In that case, he warned that Federal LEOs operating in Chechnya without his personal go-ahead could be shot on sight by Chechen police under his command. I don't think anyone had any trouble seeing what this means: that Chechnya is Kadyrov's personal, criminal fief. What is Arizona according to Wendy Rogers?

    P. S. an "audit" is an independent review by a reputable third party, following transparent and open methodology. Whatever "Cyber Ninjas" do in Arizona is not any of the three, and is not, therefore, an audit. Their conclusions will mean precisely zilch, nada, nothing. Their only value is as a piece of propaganda aimed at those willing to be propagandized to.

The challenge of grasping at straws is that due diligence and intellectual honesty often become hindrances that are dropped... as the desire for false validation descends into the abyss of lunacy. Remember when she falsely accused another politician of sex trafficking, the multiple campaigns that she ran which were disasters, her egregious ethical behavior that had the other party members not willing to campaign with her, or her membership in a far-right group who's leadership and many key members are now in custody, or how she ran afoul of congressional ethics a week into her position, or her legislative aid being fired for being crazy, or her recent statements that the Trump supporters who terrorized the capital were all antifa in disguise...

When every possible obstacle is being raised and strong opposition to third party "inspection" a question is being asked WHY?
Is there anything to hide? Refusal of audit is raising suspicion among Republican voters that the other side has something to hide.
I'm well aware of all the conclusions and case dismissals etc.
If there is noting to hide let the forensic examination continue and insure fair representation from all sides in dispute.

I'm aware of all these points and repeating this is not helping the persons who think that they were cheated.
I think AZ should have allowed a forensic analysis but included all sides for balance.
When all possibly obstacles are raised and with all the opposition to such reviews by states the Republican voters become even more suspicious that there is something to hide so they are looking for the ways
    to find the truth.

No one's going to arrest the Attorney General of the U.S. This is just a lower level politician grandstanding to impress fools.

    Stanislav already explained this!

    • An election audit is a non-partisan endeavor made up of both Democrats and Republicans.
    • It is done by a reputable organization that has experience and a proven track record.
    • It follows set rules and procedures making it transparent and it is open to scrutiny.
Arizona has already conducted two real audits on these ballots.

The shame going on in Arizona is none of those things. Cyber Ninjas is only concerned with providing MAGA porn and feeding the fantasy. It is made up only by partisan Republicans that are already convinced in Trump's big lie that he won the election in a landslide. Cyber Ninjas are hell-bent on providing MAGA porn no matter what. This shame audit is worse than a fishing expedition because we can be sure that they will claim they found stuff when nothing is really found because that is their obvious goal from the beginning. The shame audit is just grandstanding for the MAGA porn that is sure to follow at the end..

You really think that Republican voters have such a poor judgement?
    There is no MAGA porn.
    There is mistrust.
    There is also a fear.

Maybe this is to build a third party MAGA Trump party for 2024 or again run as GOP?

"White, non-Latino Americans, now the mainstay of GOP support, are predicted to become a minority of the U.S. population. The party’s long-term prospects depend on its ability to adapt to this major demographic change. The GOP 2020 presidential vote increased by 8 to 10 % of latino voters particularly among those worried about crime and socialism.

Republican state legislatures are passing bills to limit voting rights by expanding photo ID requirements and reducing mail-in voting etc.

But If Trump runs again as GOP nomination
the capture of the GOP by Trump should keep us a two-party system – as long as the reshaped Republican Party can adjust to a rapidly-changing electorate."

Sadly it also attracts Neo Nazis.
Which is a downfall of this whole effort.

There absolutely is MAGA porn. You have posted it right here!

Antrim County Attorney DePerno Releases BOMBSHELL Report – Claims County Voting Machines Were Remotely Logged into – Decertifies Entire Antrim Election

This article served absolutely no purpose except to feed the fantasy that something is wrong with the election. It was just a headline. There was no information provided. The information background left out was that the lawsuit was thrown out by the judge due to lack of evidence. That was not even mentioned in the link you posted! It was just MAGA porn feeding your fantasy.

Let me give you an example of the type MAGA porn that I expect will come out of the shame audit in Arizona. They will announce at the end of the shame audit that they have discovered irrefutable proof that something shady happened. Their audit has discovered proof that a bunch of Trump ballots were somehow replaced by Biden ballots. That these fake Biden ballots were shipped in from China or something and the proof is that they have discovered this extremely suspicious fold in a vast number of Biden ballots that are not found on Trump ballots. What really will have happened though is that they secretly folded a bunch of Biden ballots just to set up more controversy and feed the fantasy.
