It definitely seems to be a vote for light or darkness.

After the election, every pundit will have his or her pontificated theory about why it went the way it did.

However, in this thread, we discussed and disclosed it all before the election!

Yes, they had a well know pollster on CNN the other night that stated the same thing you are saying regarding names and address, and then calling to conduct the poll. That's just how it's done.

The real poll (and the only one that really counts) is on election day on November 8th when citizens cast ballots and votes are tallied! WooHoo!

Well, I admire your optimism anyway. Good luck, no sarcasm.

I received a phone call from a man that represented himself as a pollster but he asked for me by name and, when I said I'd voted early, asked me for whom? I ended the conversation right then. It's no one's business and besides, I really am forbidden to express support for or opposition to any candidate for political office. But if this is the sort of polling going on here in New Mexico, I wouldn't trust any of it.

Good point. We all lose with these two anyways.

I always give false information to pollsters. I tell them I voted for the other candidate then I actually did, I voted yes when I voted no on ballot questions, etc.

    Screw them.

Lol, that is too funny. Reminds me of the landmark study on homosexuality where a bunch of the boys thought it was funny to say they were gay. Researchers were befuddled, especially when later studies showed that these same gay kids had went "straight". Awesome.

I know I'm an evil person because I enjoy when people answer the opposite of what they believe/voted. It's why I laugh maniacally at the replication crisis in psychology and social sciences. I think my glee at the downfall of it has to do with the smugness with which most "studies" are presented.

    Anyway, good on ya Bruce.

Are you actually suggesting that Trump is the light? With all that has been disclosed about him over he past few months, I'd say that you're theologically deceived despite your being enrolled in a theology program.

As for the other video, quite right: it's both obscene and sacrilegious. But both clever and funny. Kind of like a cross between Avenue Q andThe Book of Mormon.

Personally, I can't wait to see how you whine if Hillary wins this thing.

Definitely not. Blight vs. darkness - more like it.

God raises up kings and he brings them down (Dan. 2:20-22). Kings can be used as instruments of light or darkness. We are electing a president and not a Sunday school teacher. Conversely, we are not electing a crook e.g. crooked Hillary.

    That's fully understood. :)

Oh yes, I'm most definitely ready for the election to be over. Buh bye! Astalavista baby! And no, I won't whine. No, not at all. Why? You guessed it: because it's impossible for Hillary to win. Seriously, this has been a very long and strange election:

    - DNC operatives hired thugs to disrupt Trump rallies to make it look like Trump supporters are violent. The operatives operated nationwide and not just at one rally. That's criminal, as in RICO.

    - "Pay for play" has National Security implications, which are finally being investigated by the FBI.

    - National Security secrets were disclosed on Hillary's privately owned server. That's just plain nuts. Americans have been imprisoned, fined and sanctioned for far less then that.

    - Huma Abedin has deceased and living family members who are active in the Muslim Brotherhood. She will probably have a bigger fall than Hillary and I definitely foresee her in cuffs. During investigative interviews, she will probably squeal instead of falling on the sword.

    - The mainstream media has lost all journalistic objectivity e.g. instead of reporting the news, they are creating it. They have become a politburo of the highest order.

The investigations will not be over in the next week, but the election will be!

When FBI director Comey re-opened the criminal investigation against Hillary Clinton, many high profile Democrats accused him of being a GOP operative who was trying to help Republicans win. Ironically, isn't Comey an Obama appointee?

The question remains: why did Comey re-open the investigation 11 days before the November 8 election? Here is a good article that explains why:

Here’s the real reason the FBI moved on Hillary

    Here is some Trump trivia.

If you calculate the number of days from Donald Trump’s birthday (6.14.46) to the day of his inauguration (1.20.17), then it comes out to:

    70 years
    7 months
    7 days

It’s pretty remarkable, huh? You can do the calculation yourself at this website:

    https://www.timeanddate.com/date/duration.html

(be sure to click the button “include end day in calculation” to get the same result)

There is no "special software to sift through some 650,000 emails" in 10 days. The "special software" requires training of the software, verified for false positives and negatives, and once these near-manual processes are complete, then, and only then the full batch can be processed.

As I understand it, the vast majority of the emails were copies of emails already examined in the investigation. Apparently this is something that machine can verify rather quickly and easily.
