And telling a student (who is making an honest attempt to study law with a new school) that he has just "flushed $3000 down the toilet" because there is a ZERO percent chance that he can succeed, is of value?

    Yes OF GREAT VALUE!

I recommended 2 very very good correspondence law schools with 25 years of operational history each and when the school he chose closes he will regret his decision.

You, however, cant give that advice, your not a law student, dont have a law degree and are not a lawyer, you get that part dont you?

And what happens when/if this student and/or National beat the odds and succeed here? Will you concede you were wrong? No. You will simply call them both names and make a fool of yourself.

The advice to attend Taft or NWCU is not bad (if I was interested in attending a California correspondence law school NWCU would be near the top of my list). Both have reasonable levels of success.

The $3000 risk cpaq took was REASONABLE under the circumstances. Sure, odds are not good that he will succeed, but neither are they if he chose to go to NWCU or Taft (just slightly improved).

Its not HIM its the school.

90% chance school will not survive new state bar rules and IT wont be around, NOT THE STUDENT!

I am being COMPLETELY SERIOUS here, JDLLM. Is there really some problem why you can't properly use "you're" instead of "your"? It REALLY detracts from your argument.

And how do you come up with this 90% number when you have done no research on the school? Without even considering the possibility that you may be wrong about new regulations, how do you know that National does not have the ability to succeed? Again, show me SPECIFIC problems with this school's faculty, administration, finances, curriculum, etc. which shows that it can't compete with NWCU and Taft and I may very well agree with you. Without this evidence, I have nothing which shows me this school can't succeed.

    yes there is.

You are pompous and act like your the english language and grammer police here and I LOVE being a Legum Magister and Juris Doctor and using bad grammer just to piss you uneducated people off!

If you truly are a professional, then just act like one. It would go a long way toward giving yourself credibility (and more importantly help the students you claim to want to see make good choices).

I'd love for the high, exalted Legum Magister to address my point that non-bar JD degrees from Taft and Concord are, indeed, accredited, academic degrees.

C'mon, grand poobah, get too it!

It certainly doesn't "piss me off" to see you talk like this. I'm merely trying to help you look like the person you claim to be.

I'm not usually into name calling... BUT, since you insist...

Dear Dr. [namecalling removed by moderator]

I think that you really need to lighten up a little.

Gentlemen, please, remember the TOS. The readers will determine for themselves who they find more credible. You don't have to resort to personal insults.

    Taunts....okay, but insults-NO.

What's wrong with you RobbCD? Don't you know this is JDLLM2 we are talking about???? C'mon, what were you thinking? How dare you try to show him he's wrong! ;)

We all know that Arnold is his golfing buddy, he comes to the White House for George Bush's Christmas parties, Bill Clinton and he hang out together often, famous athletes and actors come to his house for BBQs, etc.

As such it is NOT possible for him to be wrong...

You are completely correct. This is very good advice and I'll see that it won't happen again.

I'm sorry if I offended anyone and I'm really not like that (as it was the first time I've responded like that to name calling). I just couldn't help myself in that situation.

    Sorry...

My thoughts exactly, and I believe this thread has nothing more useful to offer.
