Of an individual anecdote? Of course not.
This simply is not true. The states right now are clamoring for more support as the pandemic runs wild, yet nothing from Trump. Lots of time to tweet about the election, or to play golf, but none to lead this effort.
This is whataboutism. It is a critical thinking flaw.
This is a biased political opinion, not based in fact. Nothing more.
    I hope not.

Ever since Trump made a total fool of himself by suggesting we inject bleach or stick UV lights up our asses or down into our lungs he has refused to engage in solutions to the pandemic except to lie that it is going away on its own or to lie that we've turned the corner on it, etc.. I guess we were just too mean and hurt the poor little man's feelings by laughing at such stupid suggestions. (Obviously little is referring to his emotional maturity not his obese size.)

He did the right thing initially in setting up a task force. But he just couldn't stand that they were in the spotlight, so he began hogging the microphone at each public briefing. That went on for awhile until he started looking really foolish when answering questions, so he lost interest. But not just in the briefings. He lost interest in dealing with the pandemic at all.

As a leader, the man is a fool.

And now many people injected bleach? Zero
How many people stick UV lights you know were? Zero.

The guy misspoke, he meant something else. As Trump explained he thought in a form of question after the acting Director of HLS presentation if the chemicals in these surface cleaners can be used for medicinal purposes, etc.
Then he added that it was a sarcasm, al do form reading transcript it didn't sound that way. As if Biden didn't say some things that made people question his mental ability.
We are yet to see if Biden is just a shill for high-tech etc. The inner struggle of radical left is only intensifying.
At least current department of Justice who unsuccessfully tried to in court antitrust against Google as monopoly have a partner in Biden and his rumored pic for AG.
Sen. Amy Klobuchar, a possible candidate for the attorney general position in Biden's Cabinet, argued at an event
Thursday that the possibility of breaking up major tech firms such as Alphabet’s Google should be “on the table.”

Klobuchar spoke out in support of the Justice Department’s antitrust case against Google during her virtual keynote address at the American Bar Association’s Fall Forum on Thursday. The Democratic senator noted the Justice Department’s case suggested the potential enforcement of structural changes at Google.

You think just because no one in the country was stupid enough to inject bleach into their body that it makes the suggestion somehow less stupid!?

Trump is the most flawed individual that John Kelly has ever meet. What does a flawed individual mean? What I've seen it means is a pathological liar, an egotistical tyrant, a narcissist, someone that brags his gut is a better advisor than the experts, a person that is low intelligence, and a pathological liar (I should mention that fact three times, he's a pathological liar). Those are absolutely horrible characteristics in a leader. I have no clue what Amy Klobuchar has to do with a fool that if told that a nuclear holocaust would destroy the virus then he would want to spread atomic bombs around the COVID19 hotspots. Which makes just as much sense as suggesting that injecting bleach might be good. Come to think of it the idiot did suggest nuking hurricanes.

Presidents don't joke in serious situations. Except this one.

("He was joking" is his people's way of covering for the stuff he says is so stupid they can't come up with a cover story.)

244K deaths so far. 1,400 just yesterday. That's the equivalent of 8 737-800 passenger planes (full capacity, plus crew) crashing every single day. But this president doesn't bring the full strength of the US government to bear, and blames governors instead.

These deaths are tragic, one death is tragic. But they are not because of president Trump.
I doubt Hillary would have handled this any better. The whole situation is highly political and in my opinion unjustly used to attack the president.

Anyone else that has been nominated for one of the major political parties in modern history would have done better than Trump. Any of them would have followed the science. Encouraged mask use and social distancing, put into place a nationally coordinated contact tracing program, put into place a nationally coordinated testing program, put in place AND FOLLOWED standards for testing with local controls for execution.

There is no reason to say this. Hillary Clinton had far more experience in governing that does Trump.
It's not political at all. It is a matter of national health. The president makes it political by ignoring the nation's needs, lying about the pandemic, making foolish statements, and aggressively attacking governors who DO take action against it. No other president--Republican or Democrat--would have made it a political issue.

    Unjustly? That is hilarious.

A little notion about critical thinking: It's important to make distinctions between assertions and assessments.

Assertions are statement of fact. (Or, at least, they should be. Lies assertions, too, just false ones.)

Assessments are meanings, judgments, inferences, etc. that are drawn from assertions.

To paraphrase a famous like, you are entitled to your own assessments, but not your own assertions.

Still, sometimes assessments are so wild, so disconnected from the facts (assertions) that they should be dismissed. This is what one might call a "through the looking glass moment." We've had a lot of those over the past 4 years, not to mention the past two weeks.

By they way, false assertions purposely put also have a name: they are LIES. A lot of that going on, too.

Yes. During the final days of the campaign, he claimed you wouldn't hear anything more about COVID-19 beginning November 4th. That, right there, demonstrated that it is a political issue with him. (His assertion was false, naturally.)

According to GOP Democrats are the ones who are and have been using the pandemic as a political weapon and politicizing it.
    So both sides play politics.

During the months of lock downs, there was difference the way red states reported vs blue states reported the sad stats about the numbers.
There were evil people who wanted to use the pandemic to hurt the economy so President Trump is not reelected.
The ugly politics of riding the wave of pandemic is obvious.

Trump hasn't attended his coronavirus team's meetings in months. Trump hasn't talked to its leadership in months. Infections are soaring all around the country--a huge spike in deaths will soon ensue--and he does nothing about it. Says nothing about it.

    What a surrender monkey.

Who? Who are these "evil people"? Certainly such an assertion is backed up by facts, right? So, who said these things?

Trump is the one that said these things. He said many times that on November 4 the country would be opened and no one would be talking about Covid19 anymore. Unfortunately it was just another stupid Trump lie.

    Follow the money $$$$$

Sen. Scott Jensen, R-Minn., a physician in Minnesota, said, "Hospital administrators might well want to see COVID-19 attached to a discharge summary or a death certificate. Why? Because if it's a straightforward, garden-variety pneumonia that a person is admitted to the hospital for – if they're Medicare – typically, the diagnosis-related group lump sum payment would be $5,000. But if it's COVID-19 pneumonia, then it's $13,000, and if that COVID-19 pneumonia patient ends up on a ventilator, it goes up to $39,000."

Many health care workers voiced and complained that the #'s are inflated , people put on ventilators when there is no need etc.
Maybe investigation to the false reporting of COVID 19 related deaths is due.
    Follow the $.

    Jensen:
"How can anyone not believe that increasing the number of COVID-19 deaths may create an avenue for states to receive a larger portion of federal dollars. Already some states are complaining that they are not getting enough of the CARES Act dollars because they are having significantly more proportional COVID-19 deaths."

So the Covid19 pandemic is caused by hospital administrations! I never would have guessed! Next time there is a forest fire we'll need to string up some fire fighters. After all we have to follow the money to know who to blame. <que the twilight zone music>

What about Trump lies that the states would open up and we'd stop talking about covid19 on November 4? <que the clown music>
