And to the University of Florida graduates the University of Miami (Suntan U)is a joke. To the Harvard and Stanford people UoF is below them.

Yet each of the above Florida schools have Business, Law, and Medical graduates doing VERY well in the real world.

Isn't that what it is all about?

What universities would consider themselves to be above harvard and princeton? Oxford University?

My cousin was accepted to arvard, and she turned it down to attend Boston University. She has never shown any qualms or regrets about it.

Harvard does not rank #1 in many fields. So, I can see why people would want to go to other schools. It's definitely not tops in education. An MBA would be a huge thing out of there, or an MPA. Plus, they have some fairly liberal thinking minds in that school.

 

I've known people who turned down Bing University for Bong.

Upon graduation they smoked the competition for jobs. Of course, being assistant manager of a head shop doesn't sound prestigious, but someday you get to be the head guy!
