Very well, racist immigration and naturalization laws happened earlier. My mistake.
The Arizona Senate-ordered recount of Maricopa County election ballots was to begin Friday — nearly six months after voters elected Joe Biden as president — at Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix.
Geargia to follow, a recount is planned there.
Here's my prediction. The recount will find nothing of interest and then Trump will declare it proves more fraud and sneaky dealings and a likely majority of Republicans will continue to believe his lies.
That's a pretty safe bet.
Not quite as safe as my prediction that the sun will rise in the morning but it is admittedly in that same general safe bet category.
Indeed, some on the right are still fighting.
The AZ recount has major objections by Democrats, it was temporary stopped.
Mike Lindell claimed that Donald Trump would be reinstated in August, saying the 2020 election "is going bye-bye." Even when Dominion is suing Lindell for $1.3 billion for his voter-fraud allegations.
That was as a result of voter fraud lawsuit he'll soon be filing, "Donald Trump will be back in office in August."
All of the evidence I have, everything that is going to go before the Supreme Court, and the election of 2020 is going bye-bye," Lindell said during the podcast, which aired over the weekend. that as a result of voter fraud lawsuit he'll soon be filing, "Donald Trump will be back in office in August."
Lerner, what is the purpose of repeating these crazy things on this forum? Serious question, for example
You find it amusing and thought others might be amused?
You believe this stuff?
You think it might be true?
You are trying to warn us that Biden isn't going to be President anymore after August?
Serious question, what is the purpose?
I'm asking the same question. Since this tread is titled:
Republicans still believe Trump's election loss was the result of a rigged election
Maybe I'm missing something,
I just pointed to some activities, be it recounts or law suits.
Just participating in the discussion.
I'm not trying to warn or address the allegations.
I ask why is Mr. Lindell is doing this? What does he have to loose or win?
He put himself and his business on the line. WHY?
I personally moved on long time ago.
There are issues of interest to me such as , infrastructure plans and job growth, foreign policy, especially the Iran deal.
Russia and China etc. Immigration reform and borders security, healthcare, pandemic etc.
Thank you for the explanation.
Mr. Lindell's claims make absolutely no sense to me. There is no mechanism defined in the constitution that could possibly nullify an election 10 months later and put the old regime back into power. Of course, we could put it into the same category of crazy as the idea that the ceremonial congressional activities of January 6 could have possibly kept Trump in power. Although that seems to at least have a glancing brush with reality but Mr. Lindell's assertion has none that I can see. There is something amiss in the Republican party right now. A majority still not accepting reality should be a big concern. I lay the blame for that squarely in the lap of Trump. He's the only Presidential election loser to refuse to concede the election in modern history, I believe. Just another example as to how unfit he was in the first place for that job.
Um, because it keeps us talking about him? People are not always rational. Do you have an opinion on whether or not these claims are credible, based on the recent history of them falling flat on its face dozens of times in rapid succession?
Normally, conservatives on social media spread this stuff with one goal: to "trigger the Libs". As it, re-post any piece of garbage you think will make your "enemies" (who are your neighbours who vote in a different way) feel the most uncomfortable, or "triggerred". The poster in this scenario does not know, or even care, whether or not the "triggering" bit is even true, or coherent. It's unsettling to see people you've known online for decades as reasonable posters act like they either take this garbage seriously OR suddenly into "triggering" troll game.
Rather than starting a new thread I thought this new silliness over the weekend was related to this topic. Over the weekend Fox News reported on multiple shows that Biden wanted to restrict consumption of beef by 90%. So we would only be able to eat one hamburger a month. This was just a stupid lie. Biden has never considered such a silly thing. It can be considered same topic as this thread because probably a bunch of Republicans now believe this lie to be true. I find this lie interesting in part because I'm pretty sure we can't blame it on Trump, unlike the election fraud lie.
What is going on here? Obviously Fox News has become so accustomed to lying and covering things like Dr. Seuss cancel culture nonsense that they can no longer help themselves? Their sense of responsibility to report the truth has been lost or compromised. Is that all there is to it? This baffles me.
Unfortunately, I'll bet the Biden administration doesn't even try to end subsidies for beef and dairy producers.
Mike Lindell, Jimmy Kimmel, and Yahoo
So how is the Arizona recount going? I checked FoxNews.com but there is nothing there mentioning the Arizona recount. Oann.com had one article but there really wasn't any information in it. I assume that the talk shows on OAN and even Fox News are covering it? What are they saying? Anyone know?
Last time I read something about the recount delayed due to resistance by state Democrats.
The hand-recount started last Friday, with Cyber Ninjas overseeing the process and former Republican Secretary of State Ken Bennett acting as the Senate’s liaison to the effort. Bennett said Tuesday night that voter secrecy was being protected and that fewer than 100,000 ballots had been counted in the previous four days. But he said the recount was on track to finish as scheduled by May 14.
Thanks for the info.
The question was actually more about what the reporting was on Fox News or OAN (or even Newsmax). I like to sometimes stay abreast of the point of view on the right. Prier to the election I used to watch Fox News to get that perspective. Since the election I haven't been watching anymore. I could watch some Fox News perhaps to find out but since there is not anything on the printed website I thought it might be difficult to find? I think your quote was actually from ABC, it appears?
I did see one article on OANN.com but it only really covered Trump's posturing. I was more interested in what the political pundits on the right were saying.
Well. They may believe it but it's a lie even so. Their believing that lie doesn't make it any less of a lie.
What was this in response to?
