I've heard it and not in racial context. 'Cotton picking' substitutes for invective. Tennessee Ernie Ford used to have 'pea picking.' "Bless your pea picking heart."

https://vapingdaily.com/marijuana-side-effects/ in these article are good info about vapes and marijuana. It can be really dangerous I think. Many surveys showed that. But still many people use that as a cure or pain reducer.

Amazing. Coca-Cola removed most of the cocaine from its formula in 1902 - and the remaining insignificant trace in 1929. And now they're adding CBD? "I'm Drinkin' CBD and smokin' Dynamite... I hope some screwball start a fight." Apologies to Muddy Waters (singer) and Willie Dixon (writer), 1954. "I'm Ready" is one of my all-time blues faves.
I would like to share a good site with you. It's Addictionresource. Useful information about rehab centers and treatment, addiction guides. I found the rehab center for my brother on this site. So can easily recommend it to you. Maybe this can be useful to someone too.
Massachusetts retail stores are about to open https://www.boston.com/news/local-news/2018/09/21/massachusetts-marijuana-dispensaries-how-to-buy
Are you gonna go shopping? I have to admit that I haven't. I was just in Berkeley yesterday, a hotbed of retail marijuana sales, and the thought to go buy some never crossed my mind.
I don't drink or do drugs of any kind but I have a suspicion that LOTS of people who don't normally smoke (or eat) cannabis will be doing it in the near future. That's really why I started this thread, because I'm interested in this as a social phenomenon. Once upon a time marijuana was "the great evil" or somesuch and now it's "the great salvation." I don't think either is true but I think it's attractive to a lot of people. I know there's been a lot written in the press recently about cannabis company stocks going up fast and I made sure that I was in on a bit of that action over a year ago.
I smoke up about once a year and that's it. That stuff makes me hack up my lungs, yuck! I don't know how people smoke it all the time!
Two more days! Smoking and high (thc) is out of the question for me. However, i want to see if CBD has any health benefits for me. If i can drop a few meditations then that is benefit worth pursuing.
