Talib didn't endorsed her, with is a good sign.
At least initually I think Harris will keep Bidens' stand on major issues.
    Then time will show.
    Major issues will be
    Inflation, Economy, Crime
    Immigration, Foreign policy. Reproductive rights,
Energy etc, the short list is not in any particular order.

Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ) sure has strong additional ties to Texas. Huh.

If you think DJT is better than Harris, there is something fundamentally wrong with you. I hate to be so crass, but there is no way to sugarcoat it.
She is by no means a perfect person, but she is better than Trump in every way.

I would GUESS that most anyone who is presently willing to vote for Trump is in fact committed to vote for Trump regardless. I also think the same is true for Harris.

Well, I'm committed to not vote for Trump, which is not quite the same thing, but is in the same ZIP code.

And nothing on earth or in heaven would cause you to vote for Trump, right? Me either. That's what I mean. But in addition, that that, there's so much ENERGY around Harris' campaign. It's astonishing to watch.

It's more than just relief, too. All this hoopla is too early to mean much. The election is still four months away. But Harris makes Trump look worse even than he did before. Now, he looks like what he has become, a bitter, crazy old man. This is not good for the GOP. As long as Biden was the opponent, the Trump campaign could paint him as bumbling and too old. That's also about all they had. Now, Trump will begin to look pathetic. That's fatal.

I find it interesting how the Republicans are floundering on how to paint Harris. From no evidence based accusations like she’s unintelligent to facts like she’s a woman and a minority. Heaven forbid they try to discuss policy.

The tea leaves are clearing...disclaimer here; my tea leaves are notoriously inaccurate BUT they DID declare just after the debate that Biden would step down and Harris would become the Democratic nominee for President. As my late mother-in-law would say, "Even a stopped clock is right twice a day."

So. The bottom of the cup is suggesting that not only will Harris win in November by a...wait a minute...:L-A-N-D-S...oops, jostled the cup. "Rivals 1932..." "Democratic sweep in Congress..." no, this can't be right, "Complete rejection of MAGA Trumpism and Religious Right dominance throughout the Union..." Oops, Jostled it again. Nope, nothing more is forthcoming.

Well! I should switch to Orange Pekoe. Black tea can be a bit over enthusiastic, I find.

I read an article about a book coming out that was written by Fred Trump III (The son of Donald's older brother.) One passage tells the story about the racists POS DJT spewing forth a racist rant filled with the use of the N-word. Most informed people already know that DJT is a racist though. It also mentions that DJT had been providing some financial support for Fred's son who is disabled. The last time Fred asked DJT for support DJT told him that they should just let Fred's son die. I guess that would just be considered an abortion a few decades after birth? Oh wait, Trump is against abortion. I guess murder is okay though?

I'm reluctant to accept tell-all accounts without corroboration. I'll hold off until I see what secondary and tertiary sources have to say.

Voting for candidate or what party that will address the burning issues and needs of the nation?
Economy, Crime, Immigration, Abortions, Foreign Policy, Energy, Education, and many other important issues.

Turning the elections to some kind of boxing main event in Las Vegas?

At stake the future of our country.
Will people focus on persona's vs actual issues that each party will fight for on behalf of the voters?

If people are happy with where America is heading last 4 years or will people elect a different direction will be shown in Nov.

This attack on Kamala Harris about being a DEI recipient is very strange. It makes no sense that I can fathom. Do the Republicans using this as an attack have no clue what DEI actually is? It is completely false and makes no sense. But even if it somehow did make some sense why would it even be an insult? Perhaps it is just meant as a backhanded attack on her race? I just don't understand. Any help would be appreciated.

It's better to focus on issues and record of the candidates.
This is not a Las Vegas boxing main event.

I am curious what the attack is about. You don't have to respond if you don't think I should try to understand this. Or if you think others shouldn't say such attacks. (Whichever you meant, I don't know and don't really care.)

Just trying to move away from character bashing be it by the liberals or other side, and focus on isuues.
Crime, Immigration, Economy, Energy, Education, Culture etc.
    Readers, some care some don't.
Last 4 years the American Dream got further, that's the sentiment I see.
Crime, if not looking at some edited statistics got worse.
Inflation and cost of living are sky rocketing. Hopelessness on the rise.
    Borders in poor state.
Service quality, product quality, all suffering.
People want party in gov that will improve the current state of affairs.

Nothing backhanded about it. It's a straightforward appeal to racism and sexism. I don't know whether it's a mere cynical appeal to the MAGA base or represents the speakers' actual attitudes but I'd guess the latter since the MAGA leadership is trying unsuccessfully to get it to stop.

In their world, it means the n-word.
