Cool! I'm working through the Qu'ran this year as one of the items on my Bucket List. I'm not religious but I'd like to learn Arabic one day, and develop a deeper understanding of the Middle East and Arab culture.

 

This place should be avoided. The founder is associated with hate and terrorism.

 

Yeah, last night I read a bit about him - an extremist who stops short of openly advocating violence, no good. What led you to post the course in the first place if the source is shady? I don't mean that accusingly, just curiosity.

World University award free degrees. It an interesting concept. WU honors the courses from existing MOOC providers such as edx and coursesa.

 

I'm not surprised that this is Muvaffak Gözaydın. He's something of a regular offbeat commenter on sites like InsideHigherEd. He insists that the top 100 schools in the world can educate everyone on Earth through MOOCs.
