I wouldn't exactly worry. But for $1340 I'd WANT it. No ifs ands or buts. For $50-$100 - I wouldn't expect much - or care. But at full retail whack, ($1340 for 4 credits) I'm not lowering my expectations. I want quality - and recognition. This doesn't offer that - at least none we'd likely get here.

799 euro or 1299 - either way, this is NOT a bargain.

Yeah, it's only 8 ECTS, it's not worth it. This might be a University-driven price, but on the other hand I've seen UEMC program partnerships with education centers for way cheaper prices than that, so maybe Euroinnova just made a bad deal, lol.

I'm beginning to think that company IS a bad deal.

Great comments. The propio can be great option for those with Masters degree looking to adjunct in a different field. Most schools require 18 graduate credits in a subject to qualify to teach it. These ENEB degrees could technically qualify you to teach at second subject at the University level.

The 200 dlls Masters degree is indeed a threat to the US market, many of the online schools make money with the military and education professionals, if you can get a recognized degree for 200 dlls, this kills the market for Walden, Devry, etc.

"Too"? I'd say it happens even more often. Three of my friends in Toronto (2 with Ukrainian degrees, 1 - from China, who actually had a research postdoc in US) were never able to land a residency. Taxi-driving doctors are a stereotype for a reason.

All true. I recently read the story of one young man who killed himself in despair.

Very sad! I remember a pathway for foreign physicians that were unable to get a residency but were allowed to take the PA exam. This pathway was shut down because the PA certification board felt the pass rate was too low.

Yeah. Cancel the pathway. Juggle the numbers. Exclude potentially good candidates. Sounds like a plan... :(

Keeps wages high for PA and can charge more to teach PA's

I've noticed there is a lot of talk on DI about foreign colleges and universities offering distance learning options but I think this is a prime example of why earning a foreign credential can be problematic in getting recognition in another country. Just because the foreign degree program is "accredited" and recognized by a country doesn't mean a pathway to practice is assured. Earning the degree in the country where one is going to use the degree is in my opinion, the safer bet. With that said, I recognize people have earned their degrees as citizens of foreign countries and later decide to move to another country with the hopes of a seamless transition to practice. Best of luck!

The average medical doctor in Toronto makes about 300K+ a year, the college of physicians is not going to let in all the doctors from the planet just so wages go to the floor. Not being here too critical, but if you are a doctor, you should be smart enough to do your homework before moving to a country and losing all your career. If I decide to move to another country, I should check with the local authorities and see if my degree would be recognized and the effort required to get licensed. I should measure risk and make a decision which makes me accountable for and not the foreign authority that has their own regulations. Canada is actually not so bad for the recognition of foreign credentials for some professionals, I completed a British MSc in Accounting and Finance and CPA Canada recognized the full credits and just asked me to complete the extra credits to complete the CPA just like any other Canadian Accounting graduate. Many licensed engineers are foreign graduates. The medical profession is perhaps the most difficult to recognize foreign graduates but there is a financial reason for this.

I have used foreign education to teach in the US in the field of IT. Most IT professors are foreign graduates, a person with a PhD in CS from the US is not going to take a 60K job as a professor in some small university while professional jobs pay 150k+.
It is hard to tell if the ENEB degree would score well for the academic market but as long as you can get a NACES equivalence, you should at least get an adjunct job provided that you have the required experience.

That was... partonizing. In other words, typical Canadian.
