So, is this where you fire off your last couple of posts to become a SENIOR member?

a little school offering posts in Ecuador?

May be there is a little on-line school in South America offering posts, for a fee.
And to borrow from Leslie Nielson on Airplane, "...don't call me shirley..."
    All the best! LoL :)

Is senior membership totally dependent on number of posts? What about the length of time that you've been a member? I thought there was an either/or system where you were called a member or senior member based on either criterion.

    Ike -

"c. Anyone who has been a member for more than 6 months, posted at least 50 times, and has not attained senior member status can feel free to email forum at crcorp dot net and I will happily make you a senior member. "

That seemed to imply that there was some connection to length of time that one was a member.

Oh yes! Funny that this thread is right at the top of the heap in terms of number of posts!

Not that difficult, though. Simply look through the threads here and tell David Wilson:

    1) What you're too old to be when you hit 40.
    2) Why you should (or should not) work for Boeing.
    3) On what day you were first affected by Chernobyl.
    4) Your favorite "Beat" writers.
    5) How you feel about Ham radio.
    6) Your opinion as to whether CASC is better than TESC.
    7) The precise location of the "race button".
    8) Whether bipolar disorder is, in fact, a gift or curse.

    Bingo, you're 8 closer!

    follow the d wilson trail

If you follow the d wilson trail (and his record) you can attain senior status in under 24 hours. Respond to all the polls.
    All the best!

So does Dave have the speed record?

True but all "senior members" have more than 100 posts.

I guess it depends upon how you would measure "speed". It looks like he registered in January 2002 so I doubt he'd hold the record for fastest time to 100 posts from the time of registration. On the other hand, he probably does hold the record for the most messages in a given time frame.

Re: follow the d wilson trail

Wait, voting in a poll doesn't count, does it? Do you mean posting an actual reply?
