It seems it has to do with the number post and the length of time you have been a member.

You need to post seven more times (50 posts).

I was not allowed to become a senior member until I had my college transcripts sent directly to DegreeInfo.com. They had to be mailed from the school to Degreeinfo.com (or else DegreeInfo.com would not accept them).

Some people try to "doctor" their transcripts and then mail them from their home address to DegreeInfo.com. Trust me, it won't work.

    Now I'm a senior member. :D

    Senior Member ?

Is it really worth all that to have senior member under your name?

Don't forget the 200$ dlls registration fee and the 100$ dlls anual fee. You will get your "DegreeInfo" Senior member certificate by mail that will allow you to get a discount at some "senior" schools.

    100 Posts

My research leads me to believe that the cut-off is 100 posts.

Judging by Ike’s theory, I should have been made a senior already.

Timmy Ade denied of his Sr. status by degree info. Accreditors.:)

In addition you must pay fees and then go through an initiation ceremony during which some of the light is revealed regarding accreditation and an oath sworn. Then degreeinfo will let you know what the handshake is and have your official fez mailed to you. After this you may then call Chip Worshipful Grand Master and Bear Past Worshipful Grand Master.

    Interesting!

This forum is increasingly changing in nature: sounds like the birth of " The Royal (may be Republican) Society of Distance Education".

Rise Sir Senior Members of the DL Realms! You have been knighted!

    HEY!!!

I thought we reached "senior" status when we either obtained our 10th degree or 3rd Doctorate? ;) :D

No, that would be the Trinity C&U martial arts combo package. Dr. Dr. Dr. Grand Master Kane. Has a nice ring, what? :)

I thought that most people were aware that "Senior Memebership" status is restricted to persons who are members of at least one of the following:
    1) The Freemasons
    2) The Knights Templar
    3) The Illuminatti
    4) The Rosicruscians
    5) The Tito Puente Fan Club
Membership in more than one is definitely preferred.

    Re: 100 Posts

You are right. It's 50 posts to become a member and 100 to become a senior member.

You are almost there. If you don't post with one of your aliases (Sheila, etc)., you will need only 7 more to join the elite club.:D. By the way, how is your search for doctoral programs going? You may send me an email.

It is interesting that it is number of posts, not time as a member, that makes someone a senior member. Even at degreeinfo it is publish or perish.
