I dont know what to make of the observation that I hate the music my neighbors teenagers play too loud and I am misplacing my car keys and cell phone and drive to slow on the freeway .

Does that qualify me as a "senior member"?:D :p

As seniors do we wear out pants waist half way up our chest?
Do we drive looking through the steering wheel?
Do we make lane changes without direction signals? or leave the directional signal on for miles after a lane change?
    All the best!

Nope.....good start, though. I have all of the indicia you mentioned plus a marked increased in the frequency of urination yet I still don't think I qualify.

    Covet the Title:

In police work, when we go on patrol, we have:
    • Partners and
    • Senior Partners
Similarly, here at DegreeInfo.com, we have:
    • Members and
    • Senior Members ;)
By the time you reach senior member status, you have reached a certain level of maturity and experience, both in police work as well as here at DegreeInfo.com.

Eat your heart out baby. :D

    I was once in corrections

What a gang! I worked as a law enforcement officer as a correctional counselor and a correctional officer in the 1980's. Boy the good ol' days. In my years as a correctional counselor, I only had one client miss an appointment. and I got to see him after they caught him! LoL :)
    All the best!

Re: Senior Member at last ?!

You have blown my bubble. I used to read all the posts by senior members very very carefully, those of members with less concentration and take those of new members lightly.

I now have a serious decision to make:p

Whether to read all posts seriously or all posts lightly.

If DegreeInfo ever does implement verified members, I hope that you use an academic rigorous method of verifying life experience (e.g. portfolio, examination). I don't want to see any of this degree mill junk like "Oh you have 15 years experience repairing TV sets! Simply marvelous, that (and your money) qualifies you for a degree in electrical engineering or brain surgery whichever you prefer." :D

Aw, nuts. I was really looking forward to the secret ceremonies and the official fez.

I think I really need to go out and have some fun. Also, I gonna buy a fez from Archie McPhie anyway, even if I'm not yet worthy of being an worshipful mystic senior member of the 23rd degree.

It also might cause people to be "puffed up with pride" with such a super-title. ;)
