Gardener's Latin: A Lexicon. Bill Neal, Barbara Damrosch. Another Thrift Shop find. Combines two of my favourite things - Latin and Gardening.

I'm hoping to find a book that combines some of my other interests - maybe one on Yiddish and Electronics?

Susan Point - Coast Salish Artist, Ed. by Gary Wyatt. New condition. Publication price - $39.00 (Canada). Thrift shop: My cost 25 cents.

Canadian Native Art in all its forms is a very special thing with me. I have some - and a bunch of books for reference.
This book is really beautiful. Works in glass, wood, prints, paint ... many media. And something she wrote stuck with me:

    The future lies buried
beneath the surface of the past,
    waiting to be unearthed.

It put me in mind of T.S. Eliot's Four Quartets - the first lines of Burnt Norton:

    Time present and time past
Are both perhaps present in time future
And time future contained in time past.

Oh heck. Ignore my ruminations about the circular nature of time. The book is a real treasure.
