Now we know she was in fact grabbed..well kind of. Lets not forget she posted pictures of her lower arm all bruised up. Am I wrong or does the video show him grabbing her clothing about the shoulder area? I heard her on the radio talking about this last week and to hear her, she was thrown down and jerked around in a violent incident. I don't know why he touched her but I don't think it needs a criminal charge.

We know she grabbed Trumps arm as well. I think he should file charges. Not really but she how crazy things can get.

I wasn't there, so I would assume the police went by the credibility of the victim, witnesses, the campaign managers previous statements, and audio/visual elements (rather than just video). At this point, it really doesn't matter. Everyone will have their day in court.

While video and eyewitness evidence is always imperfect, it can still present a perspective on what happened. This guy grabbed her and pulled her away violently.

If you doubt this, just pay attention to how the story from the Trump camp has changed. He didn't know her. He didn't touch her. He didn't do this. He did it, but he was protecting the candidate from a threat.

I'm glad he's being prosecuted. But remember, Trump defending this guy isn't a bug. It's a feature.

Well, the guy didn't really help himself when he made previous statements like this before his story changed several times:

", Lewandowski did offer Boyle an explanation for his manhandling of Fields: He simply "didn’t recognize her as a Breitbart reporter, instead mistaking her for an adversarial member of the mainstream media.”

Plus, the cops had the added advantage of being privy to audio which was consistent with the victims account of the incident.

Because he wasn't in charge of life and death matters, duh. It's funny how people who trashed Obama for "lack of experience" just brush this off with Trump. His record with other people's money, however, is decidedly spotty.

Recent headline: "Trump’s New Russia Adviser Has Deep Ties to Kremlin’s Gazprom". Trump thinks that an investment banker with cozy relationships with Russian mob state (and who has financial interest in Gazprom) is good for international policy advice. Disqualifyingly naïve. Seriously, Trump is a disaster - how come so many people do not see that? How? He's a fraudulent "university" operator - shouldn't this get more airing on this board? Huh?

Ronnie Irancontras did have a stint as a governor under his belt. And by all accounts, was way more humble.
Drumpf seemed unfazed by prospect of Saudi freakin' Arabia (and Iran) getting nuclear weapons. A Gazprom lackey is his foreign policy advisor. Seriously? Seriously???

That was posted on a journalism site...dang. It opens with a the girl who was peppered sprayed after lying about being sexually assaulted and then punching a guy. I have never seen so many lies told to drag down a candidate in my life.

This with the set up question by Chris Matthews and I have to say the way people are acting there is no way Trump can still do this. If its not Trump, I'm voting for who ever gets the Dem nod. People are just bandwagon provoking and piling on Trump at this point. Abner I think must sit around all day reading and obsessing about Trump as much as you post about him. I bet you a million dollars that he got hugs at the Trump rally, and people who refused at the Sanders one.

Ah, ok. I meant that as a joke for Bruce since he is a cop and the video involved cops. My poor attempt at humor. I won't quit my day job. Whatever.

Free hugs. How lame is that? Anyway, I will admit I have had WAY too much time on my hands. I have been at home on disability. The only time I leave the house is to go the doctor or the pharmacy. I am going stir crazy. I have been working since I was 15, so I am not used to sitting around doing nothing.

Well, that's good news for lowendosky, but it is kind of double edged sword. This incident proves that he lied, and instead of apologizing when he had the chance, he went to twitter like a teenager that night and accused Fields of being a delusional liar. It appears from the article that an apology letter is being drafted, but at this point it is a bit too late. The damage has been done. This won't do much for his professional career when this Trump thing is over.

On the other hand. Fields gets to maintain her professional credibility by proving that she was right. She wasn't lying, and she wasn't delusional. That fact that lowendosky won't be prosecuted doesn't negate the fact that the police found enough evidence to press charges. So Fields gets to maintain her professional credibility, which is pretty important given the fact the she looks pretty young and has a long career ahead of her.

It is interesting to note that Lowendosky's role has been minimized, and he is reporting to a new guy named Manafort. Lowendowsky was apparently spending too much time trying to play the role of crowd control/security, when he should have been strategizing and planning on things like securing delegates like a real campaign manager.

Well, let's see. Maybe Manafort can work some miracles. After the media has flooded the news with constant reports on Trump on just about every channel, the Trump phenomenon has pretty much become white noise to me.

I don't think he should be prosecuted. That would seem out-sized for what he did. But let's be clear: he did do it.

I'm not at all surprised at the reaction (and non-apology) of the Trump camp. Better to let this blow over than to add to it by admitting the truth. Since when is the truth important to them?

The guy who wrote the book on dealing is getting beaten at every turn where negotiations matter by a guy named Cruz that everyone hates.

I thoroughly enjoyed this circus while it lasted, because it demonstrates how desperate the anti-Trump crowd is to try to smear him, no matter how utterly ridiculous the "story" is.
