I didn't think your first one was obscure but I have boys and we had an Avengers marathon last weekend.

I had to google a bit to get the reference on that one.

Why of course. Everybody is going to know that you have a BM and naturally that means that everybody will think you're claiming a Bachelor of Medicine degree.

Kiz - Could you give me an easy one and give me the heads up before everyone else? I really need some sweetpoints.

Huh! I can't seem to open the picture on this one. All I can say is this one is a picture of a little black box with an x in the middle. But I'm probably not going to get any sweetpoints for that guess.

Look again Ted. new picture, same character. If you don't get this one it's because you're reading the wrong books (that's a hint).
The deadline is tonight, then I'll make another shift. Don't let those sweetpoints slip away.

It is a Golden Compass reference.

Dakota Richards (pictured) played the main character who lived in Jordan College.

Originally published as "His Dark Materials" the sci-fi/fantasy story follows Lyra Belacqua Silvertongue across multiple dimensions. The book was later published in North America as "The Golden Compass." As airtorn mentions, Lyra lives on the campus of Jordan College where her father teaches. So airtorn wins himself another batch of sweetpoints. How are you going to use all those karma sparkles?

OK Ted, this one is right up your alley. A pop culture reference that's not obscure at all. You'll have to be fast though because there's a few on this site that are pretty sharp. Remember though I need the picture identified as well as the college reference.

Or maybe a Bachelor of Ministry, perhaps at that Alabama girl's Baptist school that has the same name as some little Illinois college.

No sweetpoints from a really pretty girl? What kind of man are you? I know that man cannot live on bread alone (or even bread and water), because a man (and a woman, too) needs to live on love. Without love youn are nothing.

dARN IT ALL! I'VE LOST A POST FOR THE THIRD TIME. So, now i will try to re-create that post yet a gain. What I have tried to say is that I'd need anm easy one (likw maybe you could find some pics of femalre history professors). Naturally, I'd need a clue in my pm box. You see, I really really need some sweetpoints from a really pretty girl that I happen to have this really little school boy crush one. In my adult lifetime, I have had a series of really cute little school boy crushes on really cute lesbian girlfriends. And a few single moms too. A few years ago and I met this really cute lesbian who was a professional counselor who was a mentally ill person who was a really cute lesbian who was also single mom. Like one time she dropped something on the floor and I, Ever the gentleman I got down ion my knees and picked up whatever she dropped and, naturally, she told me there was something she wanted me to do when I was down on my knees. Naturally my tongue dropped on the floor like that guy from KISS and I made a salivatiing fool out of myself. I recommended a counseling book to her and asked the psych ward nurse to look the book up for me on amazon. The book was called "The Wounded Healer" which was written by a Catholic priest who was also a Christian counselor. At any rate, I called one of the Christian counselor that I had had back when I was living in Seattle. So I TOLD him about my cute little lesbian psych ward girlfriend. He thought it was good that I could be just friends with a lesbian.

OK, well that game was fun for about 5 minutes but it seems like it's time to unstick the thread and let it drift down into the archives. For the record. the last character to occupy my sig line was actress Chiaki Kuriyama in her role as Gogo Yubari in the film "Kill Bill (vol.1)." Wushu College is a reference to the fighting style used by Gogo in the film.

I didn't win anything, but who cares! She's really nice-looking! I didn't know her name then, but I realized Chiaki was holding a Wushu-style weapon and I figured maybe she was a current Wushu champion. I searched for ages, and found any number of (mostly) very attractive Asian women, adept at this style of fighting - but none of them were the young lady in the pic. So, I Googled "Wushu College" and was amazed at the number of schools dedicated to teaching the discipline and the number of American schools competing in Wushu.

I flunked the test, but the course was great - lots to look at and lots to learn.

Who is in Kiz' sig line? I don't know, but I can pretty much trust Kiz' good taste in women. I t's probably not that famous Harvard professor in Civuil War women's history who was chosen to takev over afyer that idiot Larry Summer was making anti-feminist comments.
