    Homophobia

During the Veep debate Edwards brought to our attention Cheney's daughter is lesbian.

Kerry did the same thing tonight. Why?

The GOP has been labeled racist and homophobic.

The Dems this year are playing the race card as well as the gay card. Shame!!!!!!!!!!!

Mary Beth Cahill, Kerry's campaign manager, interviewed after the debate, said Cheney's daughter's sexual orientations is "fair game."

The Dems true colors come out once and for all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shame on you, John Edwards and John Kerry.

Both "Johns" stooped to toilet politics!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Gotta agree....bad politics

I think the underhand mention of Cheney's daughter was inappropriate. It was an attempt to weaken Bush' position with conservative voters. Early feedback is that is was not recieved well at all, and will probably back fire.

Bush won this debate hands down, but luckily for Kerry, the viewership will be the lowest of the four debates. It's going to be an interesting 3 weeks til election day.

I think that Kerry won the first debate, the 2nd was a draw but I believe that Mr. Bush won this final debate (hands down) but have you noticed that our opinions here don't seem to represent the general population? I just checked Foxnews and it says that 66% of the people said that Kerry won (34% for Bush). No doubt, Kerry is the better speaker but he doesn't seem to be saying much. I wish the general public were listening as hard/intently as we are.

    Online polls swayed by Dem's

It is a known fact that the Democrats(Mcauliff) have several hundred thousand of democratic supporters which were encouraged to vote on these online unscientific polls. A few articles were written about it. Many of the Democrats were sending these emails before the debates even happened.

Some reporters have put the number at close to 250,000. DNC Mcauliff has sent letters and emails with all the links to make it easier. The first three debates proved this was correct.

The Republicans countered this was a waste of time since they weren't going to be true polls. In reality, EVERY major news channel has qouted their numbers throughout the broadcast, followed by a little disclaimer "these are unscientific" but the response is clear....Kerry won hands down.

To be honest, the Democrats gambled correctly, it was a smart strategic ploy to have the supporters do that. Perception is reality in American politics.

    online voting on debates

The thing is, I know the Democrats, at least, have sent out mass email to get their people to vote in online polls that Kerry won....which gives one the impression that such "polls" aren't exactly going to be representative.

e.g., Someone put me on the Dem's spamming list, and it said, in part:

    "Vote in Online Polls
National and local news organizations will be conducting online polls during and after the debate asking for readers' opinions. Look for online polls at these news websites, and make sure to vote in every one of them:

    CBS: http://www.cbsnews.com/
    CNN: http://www.cnn.com/
    Fox News: http://www.foxnews.com/
    MSNBC: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/
    Wall Street Journal: http://www.wsj.com/
    Akron Beacon-Journal: http://www.ohio.com/
    Atlanta Journal-Constitution: http://www.ajc.com/
    Detroit News: http://www.detnews.com/
    Los Angeles Times: http://www.latimes.com/
    Minneapolis-St. Paul Star-Tribune: http://www.startribune.com/
    Orlando Sentinel: http://www.orlandosentinel.com/
    Philadelphia Inquirer: http://www.philly.com/
    South Florida Sun-Sentinel: http://www.sun-sentinel.com/

And be sure to check the websites of your local newspapers and TV stations for online polls. It is crucial that you do this in the minutes immediately following the debate."

I guess we should all vote in these to make sure they're representative, nu?

Anyone who even hints that this was a draw, let alone a win for Kerry, is just a blatant partisan. No one with an open mind could have watched tonight's debate and honestly come to any conclusion other than that Bush completely annihilated Kerry.

I wouldn't say that Bush annihilated Kerry, but that Bush won. Bush was the only one smiling, until the final question, which brilliantly ended the debate on a light note.

I would say Bush won, and will win in November. He connected. The more we see of Kerry, the less we like. Kerry didn't smile at all, he only faced the camera, and he looked grim. Kind of green skinned, almost. It was not good for JFK.

Good thoughts, Chris. I thought Kerry was stiff and somewhat mechanical. He was too cerebral. Bush appeared passionate and seemed as if he really believed what he was saying. Bush connected, Kerry preached and lectured.

    Re: Homophobia

Actually this was a cheap shot. I know not all, or the majority of Dems, are racist or homophobic.

    Kerry won hands down

As I am not an American, I can't vote in the Election. I did watch the debate live and was impressed with Kerry.

Bush looked and acted like a clown, in fact, I am convinced he is mad or at least slightly retarded. See his eyes?

Bush winning the poll HERE does not surprise me in the slightest
as many posters on this forum use spin instead of facts.

I am only interested in facts, and the polls ouside this site appear to agree with me.

VOTE KERRY and save your country.

    Re: Kerry won hands down

Care to cite these polls? The polls all show Bush winning some and Kerry winning some with Bush slighly ahead overall.

As with the last poll, the Dems front end the voting. As the days progress, Bush moves ahead in most of the polls.

I hope you vote for Blair in the upcoming election to continue keeping your country safe!

    GO BLAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bush is finished, Blair will follow

Blair is just a puppet of Bush.

You don't need Bush for a safe America. You need to protect America at home, in America. Not run rough-shod around the globe like a colonialist force.

Plus, almost all the polls I visited supported Kerry as the winner.

Guess Bush supporters can't handle losing? I think Bush will win, but just not legally.

    VOTE KERRY.

I suppose Margaret Thatcher was a puppet of Reagan, huh?

I asked you to cite the polls you mention and you haven't yet.

I will make a "gentleman's" bet with you that both Bush and Blair will win just as Howard won in Australia.
