So Trump's position seems to be "I'm from the government and I'm here to help." lol.

President Donald Trump doubled down on controversial plans for the Gaza Strip on Thursday, saying the Palestinian enclave would be "turned over to the United States by Israel" once the war there ends.

The comments in a string of posts on Truth Social followed his proposal for the U.S. to "take over" and "develop" Gaza, which were derided by rivals and even questioned by close allies earlier this week.

While the whole world was crying out about
"hunger in Gaza" even though Israel never
stopped bringing in hundreds of trucks worth
of food and humanitarian aid - everyone can
see today who's eating well in Gaza and who's
    being starved!!
    The hostages returned malnourished after
losing an amount of weight equaling at least
    3 sizes.
This systematic starvation is a part of the
abuse of the Israeli hostages people who are
    in imminent danger of dying!
Where is everyone who cried out about hunger
in Gaza today?! Where is the Red Cross, except
for being a stand-in for Hamas' propaganda
    show every Saturday?!
There is no shortage of food but there is
hunger in Gaza, and it's in Hamas' tunnels the
    Israeli hostages!!

Sorry Lerner, your assertion about there not being any starvation in Gaza is ridiculous. It is flabbergasting and laughable. Also some parts of Gaza were much worse off than other parts. For example, IIRC, northern Gaza was where most of the starvation was. It was a well documented aspect of the genocide in Gaza.

What genocide, never was a genocide.

The situation in Gaza has been heavily distorted by propaganda. Claims of genocide are inaccurate and often part of an orchestrated narrative. In Northern Gaza, while some 300,000 people experienced significant hardships due to the ongoing conflict with Israel, it is important to note that Hamas has been responsible for many of the shortages, including the diversion of aid across Gaza.

However, it's evident that not all Gazans are suffering in the same way. Many appear well-fed, and some of the footage released during recent events shows terrorists, not victims. Hamas has become adept at manipulating media coverage to deceive the Western public.

    Definition of genocide:

Genocide is the intentional destruction of a national, ethnic, racial, or religious group.

That is exactly what Israel is doing in Gaza. Their reaction to the raid by Hamas was so absurdly disproportionate, how could you call it anything else? Their goal was to wipe out the people who live in Gaza. The world will not let them finish that job, of course, but Bibi's buddy Trump is willing to step in and switch it to ethnic cleansing (as if that's much better).

Apartheid --> Genocide --> Ethnic Cleansing

    Unforgivable.

To address the claim about genocide in Gaza, let's break down the points

The actions of Israel in Gaza have been labeled as disproportionate by some critics, but disproportionality does not equate to genocide. Israel’s military operations are typically in response to attacks from Hamas, a terrorist group that has targeted Israeli civilians. While civilian casualties in Gaza are deeply tragic, Israel's stated goal has been to target Hamas infrastructure, which operates in densely populated civilian areas, making it difficult to avoid collateral damage.
    1. Intent to Destroy a Group: Israel has consistently stated that its military operations are intended to neutralize threats posed by Hamas, not to destroy the Palestinian people. Unlike genocide, where the goal is the systemic elimination of a group, Israel’s military actions are primarily focused on stopping violence from Hamas and other militant factions in Gaza, not exterminating all Palestinians.

    2. Hamas and Terrorism: Hamas is a recognized terrorist organization by Israel, the US, the EU, and several other countries. It is important to consider that Hamas has used Gaza as a base for military operations, embedding its military assets in civilian infrastructure. This complicates the situation, as Israel faces criticism for civilian casualties while also being targeted by a militant group hiding behind civilians.

    3. Ethnic Cleansing vs. Genocide: The term "ethnic cleansing" refers to the forced removal of a particular ethnic or religious group from a geographic area, often involving violence or threat of violence. While there are accusations of ethnic cleansing, the Israeli government does not appear to be systematically attempting to remove all Palestinians from Gaza. Rather, the focus is on Hamas, a political and militant group.

    4. Humanitarian Conditions in Gaza: The suffering of Palestinians in Gaza is undeniable, but it’s important to differentiate between the causes. Gaza’s economic struggles, poverty, and limited access to essential services are largely a result of the blockade imposed by Israel and Egypt, Hamas' governance, and internal conflicts. Many critics point to Hamas as a key factor exacerbating the situation by using resources for military purposes, which could otherwise be used for civilian needs.
In conclusion, while the situation in Gaza is complex and tragic, it does not meet the legal or definitional criteria for genocide. The challenges in Gaza arise from a combination of factors, including militant actions by Hamas, political decisions, and the broader Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

So your argument as to whether Israel is committing a genocide comes down to semantics?

There is no genocide, it's all Palestinian Terror propaganda, there is war there, Hamas terrorists purposely sacrifice the civilian population in effort to harm Israel,
and the explanation to what is happening there is in the previous post.
"Civilians" are celebrating Hamas victory, but not for long. Israel failed in protecting the Israelis on Oct 7th 2023, they will not go back to mindset of 2023, and no longer will have Hamas or similar in Gaza. It will take time. Israel is also after Hezbollah, since cease fire Israel eliminated 60 Hezbollah terrorists and bombed their munition sights. West bank also under fire, terrorists are being eliminated to prevent second Gaza style fortification.
Once the hostages are back, the war against Hamas will intensify.
Israel destroyed Hamas fighters and ammunition storages in Syria earlier today.
It appears president Trump will support the war on terror.

Khamenei's remarks to the Hamas delegation about the need to rebuild Gaza leave no room for doubt about his ambition to renew the terror organization's infrastructure.
Iran's security rests heavily on this axis.
Khamenei's remarks to the Hamas delegation in Tehran on Saturday about the need to rebuild Gaza leave no room for doubt about Iran's aspiration to rehabilitate Hamas's infrastructure, which was severely damaged in the war. Experience shows that the reconstruction will focus on Hamas and not on the population of the Gaza Strip. With the help of Iran, Hamas will rehabilitate its underground system, leaving the residents of Gaza without shelter and shelter from the bombings that Israel will be forced to carry out in the face of Hamas attacks, which will operate as usual from civilian population centers. In doing so, the regime headed by Khamenei is complicit in the war crimes committed by Hamas.
The Iranian force responsible for making Iranian aid to Hamas accessible is the Qods Force, and more specifically, Unit 190, which is responsible for the smuggling system. The unit is assisted by a variety of so-called civilian infrastructures, including humanitarian aid organizations and religious associations. The unit has accumulated a great deal of expertise, which is evident in the diverse arsenal that Hamas maintained on the eve of the October 7 massacre.

    God forbid.
But the supporters of Palestinian terror need to see what they support.
Palestinian terror is the reason these people amd Gazan civilians suffer.
Are you trying to justify Palesinian terror?

Because prior to the incursion and murder of innocent Israeli civilians, the people of Gaza were treated with dignity and respect by the Israelis? C'mon.

Believe it or not, there was such time, there was time with hope for peace.
The situation is indeed incredibly complex and has deep historical roots. The conflict between Israelis and Palestinians goes back more than a century, with periods of relative calm, but the current phase has been ongoing for decades.

Hamas, which has controlled Gaza since 2006, is widely considered a terrorist organization by Israel, the U.S., the EU, and many others, due to its goal of eliminating the state of Israel, as outlined in their founding charter. This has put the people of Gaza in a very difficult position, as they are caught in the crossfire of a conflict they often have little control over.

Israel has made various attempts at peace over the years, including offering parts of East Jerusalem to be under Palestinian Authority control, and many Israelis have expressed a willingness to negotiate based on the 1967 borders. Unfortunately, as long as Hamas’ leadership in Gaza holds the position it does, the conflict remains unresolved.

If the substantial international aid to Gaza had been directed toward commerce, infrastructure, and the well-being of the population, it’s possible Gaza could have been a much different place today. The reality, though, is that Hamas has used its control of Gaza to perpetuate violence, further deepening the divide. The ongoing tragedy is that the majority of the people in Gaza—civilians—are suffering because of the actions and ideology of their leadership.
