    According to Media Bias
Overall, we rate Al Jazeera Left-Center biased, based on story selection that slightly favors the left and Mixed for factual reporting due to failed fact checks that were not corrected and misleading extreme editorial bias that favors Qatar. (5/15/2016) Updated (M. Huitsing 02/16/2025)

For fun I looked up Al Jazeera and Times of Israel on MediaBiasFactCheck.com.

Al Jazeera is Mixed reliability and left-center Bias
    https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/al-jazeera/

Times of Israel is better, Mostly Factual reliability and left-center biased but closer to least biased

edit: sorry, I didn't notice that someone already looked it up

I've read and watched a fair bit about the Arab Israeli conflict on Al Jazeera over the years. They did an excellent documentary about the War for Independence for example. I generally give them the benefit of any doubt because when I have done further research, they're usually pretty fact based. It is true that they have a definite "point of view" that colors their interpretation of events but who doesn't?

They don't publish bullshit. They can be rather selective of their facts.

A No to Al-Jazeera reporting of the events. I'm not saying that drone didn't attack the armed man.
I'm not buying that the militants were simply security guards. Come one, nothing happens there without Hamas.

As to injured civilians, that is something Israel is trying to minimize at high cost to Israeli solders lifes.

No need, it appears that Al-Jazeera already did. :)

Al-Jazira English is a little bit more politically correct, Al-Jazeera Arabic allegedly more anti-Israel catering to a different crowd.

Not everything is negative. A new Sunni-led, less hostile rule is posibly expanding the Abraham Accords, with the possibility of including Syria and Lebanon, which could be a positive development. I can hardly believe my eyes, that I'm witnessing this in my lifetime. When Shia Hezbollah and Assad were murdering Syrians, with around 500,000 lives lost, Israel offered help, hospitals, and other support. Now, this represents a glimmer of hope.

Media plays a role in propagating false narrative and aiding spread hate.

    https://www.yahoo.com/news/bbc-chair-calls-pulled-gaza-172946674.html

BBC chair Samir Shah admitted the network having to pull its Gaza documentary was “a really, really bad moment” and “a dagger to the heart” of BBC, according to multiple media reports. Shah spoke about the project to the U.K.’s Members of Parliament during a pre-planned meeting on Tuesday.

Last month, the BBC removed the documentary “Gaza: How to Survive a Warzone” after it was revealed that the project’s 13-year-old narrator was the child of a deputy agriculture minister for Hamas. The documentary is no longer available on BBC’s iPlayer, and an internal investigation has been launched.

“This is a really, really bad moment,” Shah said alongside the BBC’s director general Tim Davie during the Parliamentary session. “What has been revealed is a dagger to the heart of the BBC’s claim to be impartial and to be trustworthy, which is why I and the board are determined to ask the questions.”
