Pure politics, if it is about voters mobilizations and not about the truth.
Bill Crosby being taken down by the career prosecutors has done more for women rights than all those blowhards in Washington. I have issues with the "truth" when veracity is politically expedient. Would Ms Ford have been better served if she went directly to FBI? I think she should. In Maryland, there is no statute of limitations of this isuee. That is what Ms Constant did against Crosby. She went to the Canadian police and took down Bill Crosby.

And it almost certainly will. The idea now (among Democrats anyway) is that their opponents are just so... evil... that any sort of opposition is justified. Given what we've already seen, it seems to me that the only line that remains to be crossed is murder. That's coming, perhaps soon.

The idea of a Trump appointee creating a conservative majority on the Supreme Court is every Democrat's worst nightmare. They will do anything to stop it. (It's all for a higher cause, don't you see?) That's what we are seeing now.

Go read the comments on any political article at Fox News and tell me conservatives are any better.

Simple: who owns the majority of guns in the country?
If Democrats are preparing for the violent revolution, they sure are not acting like that. At a minimum, I would have as many progressive youth as possible go through ROTC and similar training, and also join the National Guard. Ditto for Law Enforcement. "Constitutional militias" are also not a bad idea. Preppers movement. Left-wing participation in all of this is pathetic. It's not like the Left does not know how to overthrow the government: Bolsheviks prepared for the Great October Socialist Revolution (Nov. 7th 1917) by agitating among the soldiers, recruiting "revolutionary sailors", commandeering battleship Aurora. See any of this happening (among Democrats anyway)?

Now, wait a minute. Are you suggesting that Obama ISN'T a foreign-born Islamic extremist, black separatist, communist, terrorist-sympathizing, mustard-on-his-burger anti-Christ?!?!?!

    Source, please. :p

There are still tin foil hat wearing weirdos out there who believe that!

Some of them may indeed have thought that the Obama administration and much of the Democratic base were evil. Some of them may have expressed that idea in ways that fragile little snow-flakes thought was rude.

But, and this is the crucial difference, they didn't riot, they didn't block streets, light fires and loot. They didn't crowd into government buildings, shouting and screaming. They didn't try to silence left-leaning speakers on university campuses. Mobs of them didn't physically assault voters attending Obama or Hillary rallies. There weren't any Republican politicians calling for prominent figures in the Obama administration to be harassed and threatened wherever they go.

The difference now is that many lines defining what once was acceptable and unacceptable political behavior have been crossed in incremental slippy-slide fashion, all while the media and many local political figures on the coasts applaud and justify. The only line that remains uncrossed is murder. And my prediction is that will happen soon, within a few months.

The mood out there is that crazy.

Murder? That's a bit dramatic and over the top wouldn't you say?

The attempted assassin of Steve Scalise. That you don't know his name speaks volumes.

Well, there's Antifa, but I don't think their numbers are great and they certainly don't represent the mainstream of the Democratic party.

On the other hand, I've come to think that if conservative gun owners en masse were going to do anything more than kvetch on the Internet, it would have happened by now. There's no modern day Bonus Army in the works coming from the right.
