I am very weak in communications, hoping to improve by getting a diploma in communications, hopefully online and hopefully worth some credits and better still be free. Any recommendations? Thanks

    Hello!

edX has a "Professional Certificate in Communication skills". I found it interesting. - Maybe it's worth a look?

    Best regards,

Thanks but EDX is it recognized and how many credits does their diploma provides? I found another one at Alison, comms skills diploma but same questions.

Are you looking for a degree program or a certificate program? Also, is this something that will be paid for out-of-pocket or with employer reimbursement?

I don't think there'd be credits for that. But Alison teaches very well. I've done around three -- ALWAYS excellent instructors. Zero credits AFAIK, but low prices, well worth more, for what you get.

Edx course is $736. For that much there SHOULD be credits -- but nothing on the blurb said there were. Anybody know? (I've done Udemy courses - no credit, quality varied a LOT - but not Edx.)

When you say communications, what exactly do you mean?

That's a broad field covering everything from English as a Foreign Language to Business Writing to Public Relations and a lot more.

If you're not too particular in needing credits, then any of the freebies from various platforms, Linkedin Learning, Udemy, etc can work for you. If your'e looking for credit that can be applied to a degree, then you can check for the inexpensive ACE/NCCRS options that can be molded into a degree from the Big 3 or competency based options we recommend.
