    Price MA History

After looking at most of the MA History programs, I have come up with this list and comments.

After going through all the links the best options seem to be

Western New Mexico at $192 however, you can only take 6 credits a semester. This program, it seems, need two differing areas for ID. So you need History and something else.

Fort Hays MLS at $214 a credit. This program is the MLS (Liberal Studies) with a concentration in history. From the class listings there seems to be a joy for PBS shows such as Civil War and Eyes on the Prize . FHSU requires a capstone project which may or may not be a thesis

Cal State DH is at $225 a credit hour. After reading this program this seems to try to emulate the work for a classroom.

From there the prices move up to $275

    American Military University
    American Public University
These two seem to be rather popular. Since these have been discussed on degreeinfo in depth I will pass on comments.

Harrison Middleton University is a great books school. If you go you will need a deep love of reading. The disadvantge to HMU is that it is only DETC accredited.

Governors State runs $279 a credit hour.

Most other schools exceed $300 a credit.

I forget how much Sam Houston State U. is but I calculated that it would only cost around $9000 for a MA from them. They charge in state tuition for on-line students. I think the per credit price is around $200 as well.
