HA! Looks like a lot can change in a year and a half!

My dean originally suggested that I get an MA in History so that SACS-COC would be happy, even though I had plenty of graduate credits. I just needed a few more credits to be eligible for promotion. I started taking classes at APU again, and took 3 history courses between the summer and fall. Then I found the University of the Cumberlands program and jumped on that. Turns out I already had enough history credits for promotion, so all I needed now was a doctorate. I opted to go with the Ed Leadership route because I could still get promoted to full professor AND potentially have the opportunity to obtain an administrative position. So far, so good!

Hey there!

I had a question for you regarding APU if you don't mind. I see that you're doing the history program. Did you go the thesis route? I'm hoping to start in the summer. It'll be my third masters, but I'm hoping this one will be enough prep to go forth for my PhD. If you wrote a thesis or are writing one, would you elaborate on the process and how much support there is?
