Rod, I suggest that next time you simply state that you didn't mean to be demeaning. You simply meant that you hadn't previously read the thread.

(Of course this assumes that you really weren't trying to be demeaning but perhaps I'm mistaken?)

 

Yes, Bill, it was of course a figure of speech and in a response to Mr. Janko's rebuttal (being suspicious of my observations simply because they were in reply to a post that was several weeks old...which was irrelevant to the points raised). My reference to those who spend a good deal of their time on this forum should not be taken as demeaning. Besides, it is physically impossible to live here. So, to those who might have felt demeaned, belittled, lowered in self-esteem, or even a touch cruddy, don't... there is nothing wrong with posting here frequently. Just as there is nothing wrong with posting here infrequently.

 

Well put, from somone who tends to make sound arguments in support of CCU, devoid of the hyperbole provided by a few others.
