It is noted that the title of the poll has been labeled incorrectly. The accurate title should reflect the question,

"How many graduate-level degrees have you attained?"

I attained her before I finished my Bachelors degree. Started dating her in high school and the rest was history. I then attained two masters degree post-marriage. :)

Surprised there was no option for zero degrees.

Good point. Certainly. The main reason for the post was to justify to me why I'm going for a Ph.D. when I already have a professional doctorate. I thought there we a multitude of double doctorates on DI

As long as you're not going deeply into debt, the only justification you need is yourself.

I think there are -- including triples+, about 100 in all. But 99% of them feel it's beneath them, to post to the masses. :)

My take: "If you got it, flaunt it!" (Flip Wilson, as "Geraldine")

The truth is, the only person who really cares about that doctorate is your mom. Spouses, kids, colleagues, landlords, and not even Jada Pinkett care unless you call her a bald-headed ****

For me personally, it has turned me into an obscurantist, generating ponderous, esoteric, sesquipedalian, lexiphanic, and recondite posts that, ironically, only I find amusing and interesting.

I rather think it's turned you into a Thesaurus, but that's OK. In fact, that's the only prehistoric animal I really like. :)
