"(Reuters) -Florida’s university system, working with Governor

, ordered state colleges to shut down a pro-Palestinian student organization on campuses, outlawing the group whose national leadership backed Hamas' attack on Israel.

The State University System of Florida said chapters of Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) had to be disbanded as part of what it called a crackdown in the Republican-led state on campus demonstrations that provide "harmful support for terrorist groups."

"Based on the National SJP’s support of terrorism, in consultation with Governor DeSantis, the student chapters must be deactivated," the system's Chancellor

wrote in a memo to university leaders."

Today in news: Jewish students shelter in NY college library as demonstrators pound on doors, shout ‘free Palestine’ What if they opened the doors, a pogrom? No room for these Jew hating violent groups, this is no longer free speech but incitement to violence.

Basically a ban on political speech on public property based on content. Unconstitutional but the U.S. has looked the other way during wartime. We will see what the federal court says.

Well as everyone knows those Jewish students in the NY College library have all the Palestinians in the West Bank and in the Gaza Strip imprisoned. They should just free those poor folks. Oh wait, that is a very stupid thing for me to say. It made no sense. Those Jewish students stuck in the NY college library should use their magical super powers to better use. Maybe they should just instead take over the world's financial system?

Oh, I'm sure they're ALL plotting to do that at this very moment, Bill. NOT! A well-devised little satire there, lighting up the sort of stupid, wicked things that stupid, wicked people feel (they can't really think) and say. MAGA! (Make Anti-Semitism Go Away.)

I'm not copyrighting it, Bill. Go ahead - get a T-shirt made with the whole thing... In fact, if you want, get a bunch made and sell 'em. Be sure to donate the profits to an Anti-Semitism org. I hope you sell millions. Here's a list of US organizations. Or maybe the org. would just take the shirts and do the sales themselves. They probably have a good system in place for things like that - fundraisers etc.

The hardest place to be a Jew is on an American college campus. Just look at UC Davis

Two weeks ago, Jemma Decristo, an assistant professor of American studies at UC Davis, posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, a message threatening “zionist” journalists and their families with violence. The words she posted were hateful enough, but the emojis she included — images of drops of blood, a knife and a hatchet — are clearly an incitement to violence.

“One group of (people) we have easy access to in the US is all these zionist journalists who spread propaganda and misinformation,” Decristo posted on X, just three days after the massacre in Israel. “They have houses (with) addresses, kids in school. They can fear their bosses, but they should fear us more.”

What is shocking is the fact that Decristo is still employed. It appears that UC Davis has a double standard of acceptable behavior when it comes to attacking Jews.

Jewish college students across the U.S. have been subjected to antisemitism — and the incidents are only increasing. National Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) has been at the forefront of demonstrations on campuses. They often use the chant “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” in their demonstrations, which is a rallying cry used by terrorist groups, including Hamas, the organization responsible for the recent slaughter of more than 1,400 and the wounding of 3,500 men, women and children.

Hamas’ Charter unapologetically calls for not just the destruction of Israel, but for the annihilation of the Jewish people. SJP, meanwhile, is routinely

Hamas is definitely a terrorist organization. What needs to be done is to somehow convince the Palestinian people that such ideas are bad. They are bad for the world but especially bad for the Palestinian people. On October 7 Hamas took action that has forced Israel to do what they are doing. The Palestinian people are paying the biggest share of the cost of the failed Hamas ideas. Reports from inside the Gaza Strip say that Hamas is preventing civilians from traveling south. This should make the sane Palestinians suspicious of Hamas intent. There should be a program put in place that exposes the Hamas failed ideas to the Palestinian people.

The White House on Thursday called out the “grotesque” and “antisemitic” actions of students protesting against Israel on American college campuses since the outbreak of the Gaza war.

“There is an extremely disturbing pattern of antisemitic messages being conveyed on college campuses,” White House deputy press secretary Andrew Bates told The Times of Israel.

“Just over the past week, we’ve seen protests and statements on college campuses that call for the annihilation of the State of Israel; for genocide against the Jewish people. Jewish students have even had to barricade themselves inside buildings,” he said.

This Yousef fellow seems to believe that the Palestinians would celebrate and thank Israel if Hamas was destroyed by Israel. I hope that he's right.

Cornell University students have left campus and are afraid to sleep in their rooms after violent online threats were made against Jewish pupils

    "
    • Violent, anti-Semitic threats were made online against Jewish students at Cornell University.

    • The weekend threats have left students at the New York college in fear and feeling uneasy.

    • Cornell University police have launched an investigation into the matter and notified the FBI.
Jewish students at Cornell University are "scared to sleep here" after violent, anti-Semitic threats were made online against the New York college amid the Israel-Hamas war.

The threats, which were posted online over the weekend, forced some students at the Ivy League university to leave the Ithaca campus because they were too afraid to sleep in their rooms, the president of the college's Center for Jewish Living told The Cornell Daily Sun, the school's student newspaper. "

It is illegal to make credible threats of violence. Hard to enforce when the threats come from online cowards.

I'm concerned that Israel seems to be losing the public relations battle to the terrorist organization Hamas. This military campaign might feel good for them right now but I'm concerned about the longer term. People seem to have forgotten the horrible October 7 attack. Israel is just looking bad to many because of the continuous stream of pictures of young children and women being destroyed in the Gaza Strip. Israel really needs to be more concerned about old fashion PR.
