Israel appears to be strugling with the public relations and it was expected, but the US support is still very strong.
Its expected that the other side will use the psychological warefare but Israel has no options but to destory hamas in Gaza.

Hamas supporters have long operated in the United States. Internal Hamas documents and FBI
wiretaps introduced as evidence in various federal criminal cases clearly show the existence of
a nationwide Hamas network engaged in fundraising, lobbying, education and propaganda
dissemination dating back to the 1980s. Together with Muslim Brotherhood.
The plan of Muslim Brotherhood in Europe and US is to have Muslims multiply and gain voting and other pwer, influence in all institutions, Universities, Congress etc. End goal Shariah law.

In general terms, political Islam or Islamism is based on the premise that the foundational textual sources of Islam (Qur’an and Sunna) should shape
    society and politics worldwide.
The Muslim Brotherhood Creed “Allah is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. Qur'an is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.”
Historically, various members of the Muslim Brotherhood have advocated for acts of political violence. " radical political Islam.”

The impact of the Muslim Brotherhood on U.S. foreign policy in the Middle
East has been a topic of increased interest since the terrorist attacks of 9/11.

The Muslim Brotherhood is represented in over 70 countries worldwide, including Europe and the
United States of America, and has spawned generations of Islamic activists, both peaceful and violent, around the globe.

    Everything you say is true.

I still think that Israel would be better off in the long run if they tried just a little bit harder to win the PR war. For example, there was a statement made by Israel's Heritage Minister Amichai Eliyahu. He was suspended indefinitely after he said in an interview that dropping a nuclear bomb on the Gaza Strip was “one of the possibilities”.

Now admittedly he was suspended but it still looks really bad that such things are said in a public forum.

To be honest, I can understand why Israeli policymakers seem to believe that they're going to be hated no matter what they do, so they may as well do whatever they think is best for themselves and/or their own people.
