Well deserved! I've read this forum for years, joined recently (and obviously posted sparingly), but I know the "rush" you feel when you hit a life goal - Congratulations, and take a well earned perspective break.

Yeah, man. I started seminary a long time ago and dropped due to relocation. I would like to redeem the time spent and see if completion opens any instructional doors.

You are quite welcome, Randall. I know I have gleaned quite a bit from your replies, as well as emails I have received from everyone over the years.

Thank you, Kizmet. Since I teach technology, I think I will pursue a few industry certifications to round out my knowledge base. IT support is woefully lacking in the K-12 environment and such certifications can lead to extended contract opportunities...

MBA and MEd? Have you inquired with Vini about joining the Multiple Master's Club? :D

    Multiple Masters...

Yeah, sign me up. Probably one more in the mix before it's over...

I'm glad to see that I am not the only one contemplating #3.

Mine would only be an MAR or MDiv...then it's land the plane with the doctorate.

I just started #3. Can I join the club?

There's no reason to stop with a doctorate. After I finished my doctorate I kept taking graduate hours. After 70 graduate hours following my doctorate I am finally enrolled in a third masters program. Education is addictive :D

BTW - Congratulations on the degree. Good luck with your future endeavors.

    Congrats, thekingster!

    Well done!

I have an MAR, but now I want an MA in a secular field.

    Hey Roscoe,
Aren't you the writer I've spoken to before? An MAR will "land the plane" of some seminary I started years ago. My debate is: do the MAR first...or jump into an EdD...

Dr. King does have a nice ring to it.

Yep. I'm the guy (http://www.writers.net/writers/31854). I think we communicated back in '02. Amazing how fast time flies. Glad to see you're moving ahead.
