I woke up this morning to an email from my Capstone mentor that I passed with flying colors and am finished with my MSIM from Aspen. I'm unsure what happens now but I guess in the coming weeks I will find out. I already have a few certifications, am working on a few more, a job and 25+ years experience so I'm fine with NA. If I ever move jobs I'll just have to deal with whatever happens but at this stage, I won't be going anywhere. Right after I enrolled in the program, my spouse began having health problems that resulted in three years of various surgeries and treatments. He's fine now but balancing my job, his care and the Aspen program threw me for a loop and it took me way longer to finish than I anticipated. I had to take advantage of Aspen's two week extension request a couple of times during the course of the program. In any case, I never thought I'd arrive at this point. But here I am, typing this message in sort of disbelief that I actually finished. I'm sure as the day goes on it will hit me. I'd asked a lot of questions here about Aspen and their program and some of you have been invaluable sources of encouragement to me so a big shout out to geoffs and Abner in that regard. Those who are still battling their way through their programs and face life challenges: hang in there. You will reach the end.
