Okay, now my head hurts a bit...the Fifth Circuit just stayed the Texas law pending appeal. Governor Stupid still can't arrest and deport undocumented aliens. This is weird because the same COA lifted the trial court's stay in the first place. This time, I guess?, the COA stayed the law following a hearing.

Stay tuned. Maybe a plate of nachos...

Yesterday I saw on the news, one Texas political pundit was guessing that Governor Stupid was doing this nonsense in the hope that Trump picks him as his Vice-President running mate.

I think Governor Stupid would be an excellent choice for Trump’s Veep.

 

Trump seems to have a huge problem/dislike of injured military heroes. I'd guess that aversion would carry over into governors in wheelchairs?

 

Recall Trump's treatment of disabled New York Times reporter Serge Kovaleski. Recall what Trump titled his pre-campaign book: Crippled America: How to Make America Great Again.

 

Abbott is paraplegic. So, I guess no VP spot for him then.

 

It is really easy to forget what an inhumane, unempathetic, bully our ex-President actually is, isn't it?
