It counts John Gray as one of its proud graduates.

Gray earned a bachelor's and master's there, and was an aide to the Maharishi. He went on to earn a Ph.D. at Columbia Pacific University and to write "Men are From Mars, Women are From Venus," along with several follow-ups.

Yikes! My opinion of the value of Regional Accreditation has just plummeted.

The Maharashi Yogi is a fraudster who offered to teach his disciples to levitate for a huge fee. All they did was bounce a mattress. "[....] in 1957, the Maharishi claimed he would bring the world to enlightenment within 10 years -- and would then retire to the caves of the Himalayas to spend the remainder of his days in quiet meditation. Yet, today he governs a world-wide spiritual empire worth over $3.5 billion dollars."

John Hagelin, MUM's chief scientist and presidential candidate of the Maharishi's political front, the Natural Law Party, hasn't published anything in a refereed scientific journal since 1994. If the Regional Accreditors applied the "publish or perish" rule...
