The article should be called "Why the Washington Post is an Abject Disgrace, and Why No One Should Waste Their Time Reading It" But, ok, ok I guess that doing elementary school level research, virtue signaling, false assertions and exploiting the emotional volitility of the increasingly polarized masses is what pays the bills these days.
That would be true and not fake news. Floating the possibility that Google might face something like a federal anti-trust lawsuit unless it can show that its near-monopoly in search isn't distorting the public's access to information might motivate them to clean up their act a bit.
