Who accredits your college/ university?

I'll start:

PhD – Northcentral University - private / for profit - North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA-HLC).
MBA (80% complete) – TUI University - private / for profit - Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC-ACSCU).
MS - Touro University International - private / non profit - Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE).
MBA/BS – California Coast University - Distance Education and Training Council (DETC).
Graduate Certificate – University of Florida - public / non profit - Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).
BS – Charter Oak State College - public / non profit - New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC-CIHE).

Wentworth Institute of Technology is "an independent, coeducational college offering bachelor’s degrees in the fields of architecture, computer science, construction, design, engineering, engineering technology, environmental science, and management. Accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. Founded in 1904." It is also accredited by ABET.

 

My bachelor and masters degrees are from BYU, which is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. I did postgraduate work at Arizona State U., which is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the Northcentral Association of Colleges and Schools. My doctorate was completed at La Sierra U., which is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges ansd Universities of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. I now work for Sullivan U., which is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

What a mouthful! Surely the regionals can come up with less burdensome names.

Academy of Art University - Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD) and a bunch of others in some specific courses (like the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) for the Architectural programs)

Universidade Federal do Parana - this is a University owned by the Brazilian Federal Government. Like most countries outside the USA, it need to follows the rules and regulations of the Ministry of Education. There´s no exterior third party accreditation (but my current brazilian BA is evaluated by WES as equivalent of a american RA degree).

 

Bachelors - Barry University, Private/Catholic-Non-Profit, accredited by the Commission on Colleges, Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, SACS.

Masters - Chatham University, Private/Non-Profit, accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.

 

My associate's and bachelor's degrees are from SACS schools.

My master's degrees are from NCA schools.

 

Bachelors - North Carolina Wesleyan College, Private/Methodist-Non-Profit, accredited by the Commission on Colleges, Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, SACS.
Masters-North Carolina Central University-Public/ Non-Profit, accredited by the Commission on Colleges, Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, SACS.
PhD-University of South Africa- Public/Non-Profit-Royal Charter in 1877. It currently operates under the Statute of the University of South Africa issued in terms of the Higher Education Act (No. 101 of 1997), and is accredited by the South African Department of Education and the Council on Higher Education (CHE). Its qualifications (including those of the SBL) are registered with the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQ)
