What is more work? A regular MD or the complete path to a PhD?

I know I'm being unnecessarily picky but DSW doesn't stand for Doctor of Social Work. It stands for Doctor of Social Welfare. Honest, ask Dr. Gina. There is also a PhD in Social Work which stands for, oh, you know that already.
