    I am at a crossroads.
Just finished my CAGS Business at NCU and now I might reenroll in the PhD Business Administration, Applied Computer Science at NCU.

Or I might keep taking classes at USF once I finish my web design grad cert and complete a EdS or PhD Instructional Technology

Have you looked at the HIT certifications? - Health IT Grant or here -
HIT Pro-PW Practice Workflow and Information Technology Process Redesign Specialist
HIT Pro Exam Development Process – - HitPro Exams

I know there is a grant to pay the $450 or so for the class and you get the money back if you pass the exam at the end. If you are interested let me know and I will get the exact links for you.

It is free if you complete it by March 2013 and you get a free voucher to take the national exam. It is offered in a few states and here are some links.

It is all online and you just have to find a school that has grant money left. Indian River State College has money left.

This is a part of an email I sent someone in Nov. My co-worker just signed up at Central Peidmont CC and they have money left to offer the program for free (you get reimbursed). Hope this helps.

It's been a while since I posted here, so this is sort of a re-introduction:

I'm working on my BA in Mathematical Sciences from University of Illinois at Springfield. I just got some good news, one of my favorite teachers is teaching a Topics course this summer in Number Theory. By knocking out my Math Elective this summer, I can graduate a semester earlier and my new expected graduation date is December 2014 -- that seems so soon!

After that, I want to do a Statistics Master's program. I'm leaning towards the Colorado State Master of Applied Statistics. That can, in theory, be completed in a year, but I have a full-time job so I'll probably take three years.

Simultaneous with my BA, I'm going to earn a certificate in Java programming from Durham Technical Community College.

By the way, I took my first college course in Fall 1975, and never finished. So we're looking at 39.5 years to complete my degree! And yes, UIS accepted those 1975 courses as transfer credit!

We've only been here 6 months, I know your area well. My kids go faithfully to jump at the Sky High Indoor Trampoline facility exit 65 :) Cool, we could have been neighbors!

I am currently attending APU for a master's in psychology. I have just finished another term where if I passed will put me at 18 credits. 39 credits are required for graduation.

So far, I have had a pretty good experience with them. For the longest time, I felt iffy because they did not mention the additional accreditations that are advantageous for specific master's programs (i.e. AASCB MBA, CEPH MPH), but I think this program was one of the reasons they have started doing so. I've had many ups and downs on my own, but I enjoy the format and discussions. The fact that most assignments are not required to be finish until the end of the week can be quite the blessing at times.

I am rushing this program a bit because I am on the fence about reenlisting. My goal is to finish in early 2014. I would like to be a counselor or psychologist. I've considered applying for the HPSP, using my GI bill in a traditional doctoral program, or possibly respecializing in the future.

I know I have been so wishy-washy, but I have decided now. I am applying for Pepperdine University's MAE in Educational Psychology. Super excited to start this fall. It's a nice hybrid program. 60% on-campus / 40% online. I couldn't ask for a better program.

Some Moderator is planning on applying to some program at some South African University. Some say that this will occur within the next week or two. Additional details will be provided at some time in the future when this Moderator can be appropriately provocative (maybe even inappropriately provocative).

I finished up my MA in Counseling at Liberty and am now going for the MDiv through their seminary. I feel like it will be a good complement for my Pastoral Counseling work. From there, I am looking at a DMin...or maybe even a third master's. The idea of a doctoral dissertation really keeps me apprehensive from making that leap. :(

I would say yes, we want to hear the full dream list but something tells me it'll take up like three more pages of this forum. Still would be interesting though.

I'm working on the MPS in Legislative Affairs from GWU. Very cool part-time program here in DC, and thanks to Liberty University, I can complete it in a year. Last year I took a few distance classes through Liberty's Public Policy program, and GWU let me transfer 9 credits into my current program. Very cool, especially since I went back and was able to use those same credits (plus a few more) to receive Liberty's all new Grad Cert in Public Policy.

Now, as some of you may have noticed by my "Rochester Institute of Technology EMBA" thread, I'm looking into various part-time/distance MBA/EMBA programs to start next year.

I don't know where else to put this, and I'm not sure if she'll see this but I had a question for Jennifer (cookerosa?) - will your MS in Nutrition qualify you to sit for the RD exam, or will you mostly use it for nutritional advisement type stuff? My wife will be starting some type of RD program once our two little guys are in school, so I'm curious.
