I am unsure if anyone posted this, but Vanderbilt Univerity has an Ed.D program online with a capstone project. It is pricey at $2,245 per credit. https://peabodyonline.vanderbilt.edu/edd...urriculum/
I looked into the program 5 years ago. I liked it, and wanted to earn it as my terminal degree with specialization in Data and Analytics. At the time the price was about $75,000.00; but was not sure if it worth for my career.
It isn’t an issue for me, I completed a similar program at USC, but I wanted to point out that this is also a 2U program since there was a recent discussion about it. I considered this program as well; after comparing many things the USC program just aligned better for me.
Was the USC's program good ROI? I looked at that program years ago, and was still thinking about the price tag.
University of the Cumberlands President Larry Cockrum earned this EdD from Vanderbilt, in the aftermath of a controversy over his original PhD being from the unaccredited Crescent City Christian College.
I think it has an amazing ROE/ROI for me. Opened tons of doors including networking/building strong relationships with executives at major organizations across the world. It changed my outlook immensely, provided meaningful skills related to human behavior and org success (among tons of other things), and opened my eyes to a world I didn’t know existed being a career military officer. As I near retirement it has already opened doors for the next stage which was my primary goal.
