University of Berkley

University of SouthCentral Los Angeles, California

Can anyone tell me whether this university exist in California. They offered me scholarship to do my MBA online at a cost of $850. Please help me to verify this before I make payment because I dont want to deal with fraudsters. My income is too low. The website address is www.usla.edu

Oh, God! Now you bring up the institution, it reminds me of my distance learning experience for the the first time. I graduated from high school, then entered the United States Marine Corps; while I was stationed at Camp Pendleton. I was looking for distance education, and I found University of Berkley; I thought it was University of California - Berkley. I amost applied to this school and Western-Kennedy University.

 

Well, heck. I know this is an OLD thread. I happened to hear about this “degree mill” just a little bit ago. So I googled and found this thread. More googling and I found that they are STILL around! And I did notice that they now have a new mailing address and a disclaimer that they can’t do business with people in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Wow.

 

Kennedy-Western University.

 

I thought this school was still around and the site said it was now ACCREDITED - by TRACS. But no - that's the U. of South Los Angeles - not SouthCentral.

I should look up and see how my other favourite in the same general 'hood is doing - "University of StraightOuttaCompton!"
