Did anyone else receive the following: We are pleased to inform you that as part of Unicaf’s 10-year anniversary, you have been selected for a special scholarship which will allow you to study toward a British Master's degree of your choice for only £1,950. I wonder if I should feel special. The cost would be under $2,500. Either way, I have no motivation for school anymore. I earned 3 credits at the University of Memphis in the summer, then dropped my fall courses. I can't do this school thing anymore. These days I stay traveling!
Which partner institution is providing the scholarship? That's a very good deal as they have multiple partners, they have a few offerings from various institutions below University of East London and Liverpool John Moores University have the most Masters offerings, University of Suffolk (only a couple of programs) Then there are some other institutions that have up to the Doctorate, DBA/PhD options to select from, but these aren't the programs I am interested in...
That sounds like a stellar deal. Any chance there's a link to the promotion? If so, would you be willing to send it via private message?
For those interested, this may be the promotion: https://apply.unicaf.org/unicaf/10-years-anniversary/africa

@chrisjm18 I live vicariously through your adventures in Africa. It's as close as I can get to the continent for the next decade or two.
Interesting... I got it! A $2500 Scholarship! I wonder what the degree cost is in total?! Would that be under 2.5K for a Masters?! Here's their partners page: UK and US University Partners | Unicaf Organisation University of East London & Liverpool John Moores University, have a couple of MSc I am interested in... I think with the scholarship, it's cheaper than doing so with UpGrad or another similar partner...
I didn't know you were gifted and underprivileged. From the Unicaf site: The Unicaf Scholarship Programme was founded to offer gifted, underprivileged students the opportunity to further their education, by earning internationally recognised qualifications, at low cost. How exactly did you qualify? You stated your income a year or two back on other forum - and it was pretty high, even by US standards. How is that "underprivileged." How did UNICAF assess that you were gifted?
Interestingly, some people seem to be receiving these scholarship offers without requesting them. Many commenters say the school(s) and the scholarship are legit, but their tactics make me raise an eyebrow: https://www.reddit.com/r/Scams/comments/15h4k23/unicaf_scholarships_is_this_legit/ https://www.reddit.com/r/UniUK/comments/15swq1p/is_this_legit_unicaf_offers_me_a_masters/ https://www.reddit.com/r/MBA/comments/pylar7/unicaf_scholarship_mba/ https://www.reddit.com/r/Kenya/comments/ojga53/scam_or_real/
There are 44 pages of reviews on Trustpilot - from great to horrible. I remember the South Wales MBA offer being discussed here. Here is the entry point for Trustpilot reviews of Unicaf scholarships: https://ca.trustpilot.com/review/www.unicaf.org We have a lot of entries on UNICAF - list here https://www.degreeinfo.com/index.php?search/38988637/&q=UNICAF&o=date I think UNICAF has morphed - from African students only - to "marketing tool for schools all over." Colour me suspicious of ANY outfit that sends unsolicited emails. Some reviews specifically report that. And here's the "original Unicaf thread" on the Uni of South Wales discount MBA https://www.degreeinfo.com/index.php?threads/unicaf-mba-programme-university-of-south-wales-uk.48973/page-2
